Q: Are they biodegradable?

A: Hey optimistic - Thank you for your interest in the Regular Cotton Swabs Paper Sticks - 750ct - up & up™! These cotton swabs are not biodegradable. Biodegradable was recently removed from paper swabs due to changes in California regulations, as currently, the glue cannot meet the specs as written in the bill. Hope this helps - Josh

Q: What material is the stick part of this product? I want to know if these can go into compost. The tips can be as they are 100% cotton, I am not sure about the stick.

Very disappointed! This batch's quality isn't like the Up&Up travel size pack paper stick swabs, and the 500-count pack I bought in 2023! I don't know if they changed vendors but the sticks are very flimsy, bends right away so much so it's almost unusable. The cotton wool isn't wrapped well, and I worry it'll leave wool in my eardrums! Regrettably I bought the largest pack of 750ct, but I will have to return this item!

Why did Target change the product everyone loved? Up and up qtips were the best… now it’s horrible. The right on the photo is previous version. Left is current. The cotton is loosely wrapped and maybe it makes it softer, but leaving fluff on skin isn’t what we want. Very disappointed Target made this change.

Bad quality. Target is starting to lack, and I’m really beginning to dislike target when I’ve been shopping consistently for over 10 years. Not only are they having worse quality for their brand of products, but rolling back their equal rights to work is utterly DISGUSTING in which I be more than happy to leave a 1 star review on all of their products I’ve been purchasing that have been POOR quality to say the least.

These used to be really good! Now the quality is a third of what it used to be. The cotton swabs have loose and uneven cotton on the ends and the shaft bends with minimal pressure

Purchased December 2024. These used to be an excellent product. They are terrible now. They unravel immediately. Very poor quality.
