Q-Tips Cotton Precision Tip - 30ct

I just purchased these yesterday for a project, and they are nothing like the smooth photo shown. Every single one of them is of poor quality. Even the one in the photo has a fine precision tip on the sticker, but the Q-tips inside look like regular ones. They are also too harsh and hard to use on the face. Daiso has better options. I've used Q-tips before, but this is my first time trying these precision tips, and they are useless for what I needed them for.

This was the only QTip product available at my store. There is no cotton on the tip. It is a hard point. It has always had a warning putting it in your ear canal but people have always used it that way to clean ears. Very dangerous.

I was a little worried when I saw the stock image for these Q-Tips because the label shows one pointy tip but the Q-Tips inside show two round tips. Rest assured, I ordered them anyway so you wouldn’t have to lol. Both ends of the Q-Tip are indeed pointy. I’m glad I found these and once they are done, I will be looking for a pack with a larger quantity.

The packaging was a little obnoxious with it coming in a big box and lots of tissue paper. But I love how they were shaped, making cleaning my eye makeup a lot easier and neater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a must have in the bathroom. I especially like the pointed end for getting to the areas around my eyes! Plenty of fluffy cotton on each end as well. Super soft and absorbent also!

The pointy tips allow me to correct eye makeup mistakes easily and effectively.

We keep these in our house for various uses, BUT these are NOT FOR EARS. Do yourself a favor and don’t attempt to use them for ear cleaning! I have had several ear surgeries, and use regular Q-Tips often to clean outer ear. I grabbed one of these and thought I’d be really ‘careful’ and use for ears. I ended up jabbing my left eardrum with this and it hurts like you wouldn’t believe. Luckily I didn’t puncture the eardrum (and I have punctured eardrums twice - not from Q-Tips, but you don’t even want to chance it. Trust me 🙂) Aside from that warning, these are perfect for makeup, eyeliner, shadows, concealer, and lipstick. Easy to wipe away nail polish messes. Essential for applying sterile saline water to new piercings without disturbing them. Also a great tool for applying alcohol to base of newborns’ umbilical cord to promote healing. Succinct enough for husband to use for care of his hearing aids (which are NOT cheap $6K). Great for cleaning little areas around the house - like around/behind the bathroom faucets after dipping the tip into some hydrogen peroxide. Very useful to artists for various detailed uses. Again, strongly advise against using to clean inside ear canal, but know you will find a billion other uses for them. Good luck 🍀

Get the pesky mascara smudges off easier. Fine point is nice to just remove pinpoint areas instead of removing too much
