Q: Can you cut them in half long ways and still use them?

A: I had to cut them in half lengthwise to fit on a thin pictureframe, and it worked. I had a couple temporary, Christmas pictures to hang up, and they stayed up for over a month without any issues.

A: My walls are textured and I use command strips all the time and they work great most of the time, only occasionally do they not work.

I have been using command strips for at least 7 years. This was my first time buying new strips in two years (my last strips lasted two years and only had to come down since I moved). I can no longer get any of my larger frames to stay on the wall even with five pairs attached and am even worried about the small frames falling. EXTREMELY disappointed in the apparent decrease in quality. Not at all as I last used.

I used command strips to create 2 large collage walls of picture frames. We are moving and i went to take down the frames. Every single strip pulled paint and parts of sheet rock down.

These have gone way downhill. I bought one pack a few years ago that was great, so I bought 2 more packs. But the new packs are absolute trash and don't work. The wall piece always comes off at the step when you're supposed to pull the photo off, seal the wall strip, then leave the photo off for an hour. I'm doing the same thing I did with the old strips and following each instruction, but these don't work. This has resulted in several of these strips having to be trashed, which is a waste of a lot of money. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone anymore

From the bottom of my heart I genuinely do not know what I would do without these. I have photos everywhere in my house thanks to command strips I have not so much as chipped the paint and no holes required. Sometimes I take down photos and decor and completely re-arrange them thanks to being 100% commitment-free! I absolutley redly on these and they never dissapoint!
