Q: Can these strips be used to hang a remote on the wall? I want to be able to take it off the wall daily.

My teenager daughter came home from the hobby store with a giant Christmas canvas that she just “had to have” in her bedroom. It is September. Not wanting to put holes in the walls for something that will likely be a temporary decoration (just until she gets sick of it) these strips were the perfect solution! Strong enough to hold the weight, perfect adherence and easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love 3m’s standard photo hanging strips and I never really need anything stronger than the 15 lb ones but for I had a heavier frame that needed to go up with nails and I thought these new 20 lb ones would be perfect to try on this project. I have an 18 x 24 frame that is pretty solid that needed to go up on a collage wall. These new strips handled it no problem. I did use 3 total pairs for extra peace of mind though.

The award is around 6lbs.it has been on our wall for around 4 weeks and it is still very sticky and sturdy. It has not budged. They are easy to use and are working great.

The higher weight limit has allowed me to rehab some of my heavier items around my apartment. As a renter, this is a game changer. They are very durable and long lasting, and don't leave any residue behind when removing. Thank you 3M for this "kicked up" strip - definitely a new staple.

I like that I can use more of the strips for heavier objects. And I love love love that they are easy to remove with out damage to the wall/surface. I only wish that they were slightly thinner, as I find that I can see the gap near the wall when I look at my picture frame from the side.

It's in a rather heavy frame and the 3M/Command 20# picture hanging strips that I received at no cost to me as a tester worked just right. They stick to the back of the frame and attach well. Once I placed everything on the wall and stood back to admire the picture, I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this as a solution for others in the same boat that don't like pounding nails in the wall.

I had them hanging up a cork board for the last year in my office and they were super easy to remove when I rearranged and needed to move the corkboard.

However, UPS lost the package but since we are hanging pictures in our new house and don't want to put holes in the wall, we went and purchased them. We loved how easy it was to follow the directions and used them to hang multiple pictures. All pictures are hanging straight and show no signs of falling. The strips are definitely powerful enough for pictures as stated. We are on the way to purchase more for the remaining pictures.

This includes two strong picture hanging strips that can adhere to a smooth surface like a wall. They will keep your picture or other wall mounted light art piece from falling for quite sometime. However, I would not trust these to an expensive piece of art. If you have insurance on your art, pay some professionals to hang it please. If it is just some dinky picture that you had printed at the drug store, this product should hold it up just fine.

Just attach the strip to your item, hold it in place to find the perfect spot, and press to secure. If the alignment isn’t quite right, you can gently detach the item from the wall side of the strip, adjust, and press again. The connection remains strong after repositioning. For the best fit, remove any protruding mounting hardware so the strips sit flush and hold evenly.

I buy different sizes based on the frame size/weight. It is strong and holds the picture very well. It also removes clean off the wall without any damage.
