Q: Hello, can the frame be painted with standard wall paint? Thanks!
A: Thanks for your interest in our U Brands Cork Bulletin Board! The frame is made from MDF with a paper wrap to give the Birch Wood effect. It could be painted, but we would not recommend it.

Q: What type of push pins work with this thickness of board? regular push pins poke out the back ? Does Ubrands make a shorter pin ?
A: Hi Griffinmyth, The included U Signature push pins work great on this board! They are about 0.64cm while a standard push pin is 1cm.

Q: Can you hang it with command strips? Thanks!
A: Hi anonymous, Thanks you for noticing our 23" x 17" Cork Bulletin Board! While we recommend using our incldued nails and mounting hardware, the board itself weighs about 2.5 pounds, which may be light enough for use with command strips. We recommend exercising caution mouting on surfaces with any type of adhesive strips.

Q: What are the dimensions of the cork surface (excluding the frame)?
A: Hi Camille, Thank you for your interest in ur Cork Bulletin Board! The actual board board surface measurement is 16" x 22". The 17" x 23" measurements noted on the packaging and item description is the outside frame dimensiosn for reference to for sizing placement on your wall or other preferred mounting surface.

Q: How thick is the cork?
A: Hi Nancy, We are delighted to know you are checking out our board! The cork is 1mm thick and lays over self healing sugarcane backing which provides excellent pushpin grip.

Q: Can the framed be removed to add fabric, then put back on?
A: Thank you for your interest in our Bulletin Board! The frame is not designed to be removable and will likely become damaged if it is removed and reattached. It may be easier to attach the fabric and trim with the framing still attached.

A: Thank you for your inquiry! The Bulletin Board weighs about 3 pounds, which leaves the rest to the performance of the adhesive product you are looking to utilize. I would recommend checking with the manufacturer of Command Brand 12lb for a guarantee on it holding up the board.
