I purchased the Universal Chair Cane 3 days following an implant of a Pacemaker. As my left arm was very restricted for 5 weeks and my favorite chair is a swivel rocker recliner getting in and especially out was difficult. After searching the web, I found the Chair cane and it fit my needs perfectly. I can use my right hand and arm to pull myself up from my chair. It’s an excellent product and I would recommend it to anyone needing an assist getting up from a chair.

The construction is heavy duty steel, and the entire piece has quite some weight which is ideal. I was a bit worried as the chair I needed it for is not as heavy as a typical lounge chair, and I was worried the whole setup might slide around. It doesn't. It's very stable and stays put.

This cane may be more appropriate for someone who does not get up and down as often during the day and move from chair to chair.

I use the chair cane all the time to get up . It has keep me from many falls. It is made very sturdy and it stay out of the way but there all the time.

As I've gotten older it isn't so easy to just get up from a seated position. I use this to help me get up from my sofa. I am a slightly larger person and this chair came is very helpful. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy.

I have had several surgeries recently and have a hard time getting on and off the couch or recliner. The AbleLife Universal Chair Cane enables me to both get on and off the couch or recliner without worrying about falling or taking forever to do so.
