Q: My heating pad is no longer working after about 1 year. The controller is flashing whenever I plug it in. I have tried holding the button while plugging in or unplugging. How can I clear the error?

A: Just be aware that this was not helpful at all. I called and and still nothing could be done. I do not have a reciept for the item so no help even though it is the Up&Up Target brand.

A: Hi Jean, This heating pad has an Auto-Off feature. The indicator on the selected temperature will start to slowly blink to indicate the Auto-Off feature is activated. This feature is designed to conserve energy by automatically turning off after 2 hours of continuous use. Hold the power button to turn the heating pad back on; it will automatically revert to the previous setting.

Low quality
I've had 5 different heating pads and this is the worst one I've owned. Material is not very nice, only 3 heat settings, controls are strange, dimensions are not what I would consider "extra extra large". It does get warm for me but I can tell it's just an overall just a low quality item. Purchase elsewhere!

Why are you selling this
Worker twice - but had to be unplugged after half hour to restart- before not working at all. People aren't buying things like heating pads for fun. They're being bought for a need, often for things like post surgical pain relief- my case- which is a horrible time to find out Target chooses to continue to sell a failed product. Didn't see bad reviews til it came, only one that would've gotten here on time so when it worked out of the boxed I assumed I'd be ok. Don't be like me. Believe everyone else that Target is selling defective products

Terrible! Do not buy! Thus is junk!
Hard to turn on, once on it creases immediately, and the creases do not relax once hot. They are permanent, uncomfortable lumps! The tag says do not iron for a reason. I’ve had it two days and will return. Do not waste your money!

Stopped working after less than a month. Good while it lasted.
This thing got hot. Like, HOT. Which was absolutely amazing! What isn’t amazing is that we thought it June 20th and it stopped working July 1st, and it was only used maybe 6 times. I’m a dog groomer, my body HURTS. I wanted to love this heating pad, but she died so quick. Ye barely knew thee.

Trust the Others - Not Worth It
As someone who has used a heating pad daily for most of their life I can confidently say this was not worth the money. This heating pad used to get hot, but after a few weeks I noticed that even on the highest setting it was not heating up as well. Spend the extra money for a name brand.

Barely warmed up and didn't last
Barely got warm and stopped working after a week. The size and soft thick cover were nice but I found it useless as a heating pad and returned it. Thankfully Target has a generous return policy on their Up&Up products and I was able to return this without the box.

Use it for back and shoulder aches!!
So toasty and warm. I also use it on my chair when work because sitting tends to ache my lower back and shoulders. It’s also soothing laying down on the bed while doing some reading or scrolling. It doesn’t cut off too short either mine lasts anywhere 30-40 minutes depending on the heat setting and heats up within seconds!

Looks can be deceiving
At first glance this looks like a great heating pad. It looks soft and comfy and the price is nice, however it doesn't even get warm, so disappointing! My fiance has serious lower back pain and our old one is broke. We don't want to use it because the cord has a bad spot so I wanted to gift him a new one and this one doesn't even get hot on the highest setting I feel so bad for him :( such a disappointing purchase:(
