Contains wheat!
Just FYI, this has wheat in it! I have celiac disease and had an “oh nooooo” moment when I looked at the ingredients (inside the package, not outside!). It’s probably safe for celiacs as long as we don’t eat the contents, but people with wheat allergies will want to avoid this product. That said, I used it in warm mode and it really helped my stiff neck!

It smells horrible.
It heated up nicely in 2 minutes, and fit perfectly on a dinner plate, very soft, unfortunately It is too heavy and smells awful. I will be returning it. I am giving one star on the value because of the smell, therefore it was no value for me. It stayed warm for about 30 minutes.

Doesn't Heat Up -- Big Disappointment
Useless, barely gets hot. Which is a shame, because the material is plusht soft, it conforms nicely to neck, is gently weighted, and has a pleasant scent. But it's not a heat wrap if it never heats up. Not what I'd expect from a Sharper Image product.

Perfect for swollen lymph node!
I’m dealing with an infected lymph node and the pain is so intense. Doctor recommended me a heating pad and this is one of the best I’ve gotten. It’s become my best friend for the past weeks while I recover. The smell is relaxing; perfect for sleeping. It smells more like Chamomile than anything. The weight is distributed nicely if you move the beads around. The heat lasts long. So soothing and the heat melts the pain away. The heat lasts around 30 mins; perfect time to fall asleep. Heavy heated neck wrap
This thing is very heavy. It is difficult to get it on one dinner plate to heat it in the microwave. The diretions are very caustious so you don't heat it up too much an make it too hot to wear, which makes it long to heat up. It's too big and cumbersome to wear in the summer, but should be good in the winter.

I like that this will stay on your shoulders while you do things, so I don’t have to be sitting to heat my neck/shoulders. I also like that the shape lets you specifically and comfortably get your upper back and neck. However, it doesn’t stay hot for very long. It’s either really hot straight out of the microwave or lukewarm. The scented situation is neither good or bad. Seems kinda pointless but sometimes it makes it more relaxing. I don’t find it overpowering.
