As a massage therapist, I will say this is such at home self care tool if you deal with neck and shoulder tension. It provides moist heat that penetrates deep into the muscles. It has an upper flap that fits against the occipitals, which alot of people aren't aware of that cause headaches. For tight scalenes, muscles around the base of the skull, tight jaw muscles, pecs, ect. This provides amazing relief!

Contains wheat!
Just FYI, this has wheat in it! I have celiac disease and had an “oh nooooo” moment when I looked at the ingredients (inside the package, not outside!). It’s probably safe for celiacs as long as we don’t eat the contents, but people with wheat allergies will want to avoid this product. That said, I used it in warm mode and it really helped my stiff neck!

It smells horrible.
It heated up nicely in 2 minutes, and fit perfectly on a dinner plate, very soft, unfortunately It is too heavy and smells awful. I will be returning it. I am giving one star on the value because of the smell, therefore it was no value for me. It stayed warm for about 30 minutes.
