A: 17" for the pad an 25" for the strap, for a total of 42"at max with MAYBE an additional 1" for the buckle but I wouldn't count on it.

I bought this for my siatica pain while pregnant and I can't even begin to try to wear this with the strap. It stays nice and warm and covers a good surface area I just wish it was wearable for me.

The pack does not stay frozen very long - within about 15 minutes (or less), it was warm with only a few small cold spots. Worse, I am not a big guy - size 33 waist - and the strap barely fit around me and was snug with only about 1 inch to spare. These also reportedly leak after only several uses and, while mine is new today, it does not seem to be all that durable. All in all, it seem to be worth about $5, not $16.

Haven't used this as a heat pack, but it only stays cold for about 15 minutes after freezing. It also builds up condensation and gets everything wet.

Ahhhhh! What a blessing to have this ice cold pack snuggly pressed into my lower back and hips. I overdid it moving heavy things non stop for 5 hours and ended up with back spasms. Advil and a muscle relaxer helped but this pack gave me such wonderful relief. I don’t have a microwave so being able to put it in hot water to make a heat pack is such a blessing.

It’s a little more expensive, but if you need to invest in another ice pack, this one is the bomb.com I have many in the freezer I have been rotating, but this one by far stays colder longer, I have it to the front for belly or boobs and belt stays in place and even when it starts to warm, you can flip it and the beads on the other side give you more cold time.

Seal on the seam broke with normal micro reheating, or wasn't sealed correctly to begin with. Leaked out TONS of tiny little blue balls, scattered -- everywhere. Cleaning up after it failed was a problem. Bummer. Was good until the product failed.

I like it can be used as an ice or heat pack but to use it as a heat pack can be tricky. Takes a few to heat it up but then you can into the problem that sometimes is too cold and sometimes it’s waaaay too hot even when using the recommended heating instructions. I’m going to go back to the plug in heating pads

I was looking for a large ice pack when I ordered this. I grabbed it from the freezer at 5 a.m. when I woke with a migraine headache. I was super excited that it worked so well. I also used it for upper and lower back during the day. I use a different item when I need heat therefore I cannot rate it for that purpose, I would say to read the directions carefully before using anything that requires a microwave for heating and applying to the skin.
