A: The adhesive on ThermaCare Neck/Wrist/Shoulder heatwraps is primarily located on the ends/sides of the wrap, not across the entire surface. These adhesive tabs are designed to hold the, usually central, heat cells securely against the skin.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice - there will not be a third time.
If I could give this product zero stars, I would. This is the second time I have tried thermacare's heat therapy line. The first time was with their menstrual cramp product and it was bunk, it never heated up whatsoever. Flash forward to today when I decided to give the line a second chance and try the neck pain therapy product and it is even worse than the first because the adhesive on this product does not stick to the skin AND it does not heat up either. I will NEVER buy this brand ever again. A complete waste of $20+

Poor design and quality
These do not work. It’s like a cheap hand warmer with barely sticky ends. There is little to no heat, and the adhesive on each side kept coming off. The shape and length were odd. It might work better if it had an entirely sticky side instead of only sticking on each end (barely) and the rest lightly drapping around the back of your neck.

I’ve used the heat wraps for years and they have always worked extremely well. Unfortunately, the product has been downgraded to a smaller size and doesn’t maintain the warmth. I’m returning to using an electric heating pad and will never purchase the wraps again.

For my period
I use these every month on my lower abdomen when I'm on my period. Heat lasts longer than 8 hours and these are great on the go. They're not designed for this area but fit perfectly under pants, which helps keep this in place.
