This is my second time purchasing, and I am still not impressed. I really can't get over the strong plastic smell. I've let it air out for weeks and wiped it down. I threw out my other one for this reason, but apparently they all smell. It doesn't stay hot for too long either. Not the worst, but I definitely won't purchase again.

Not nearly warm enough
4 temperature settings, apparently. The highest one is barely lukewarm. My last heating pad had 6 temp settings and this one at highest is probably about what my old one was at lowest setting. Returning and hoping to find a better brand that actually feels nice and warm on my back.

Disappointingly, the soft fabric is only on one side and the other side is scratchy and unpleasant. What a bummer! Also, it is very small so not sure why it was billed as XL. Another disappointment.

Exceptional warranty
I purchased my Pure heating pad 4yrs ago and it has been everything. Last week it quit working and I was heart broken. I called the warranty phone number and received a cheerful voice on the line. His name was Scott, I explained to him how much I have enjoyed this product and he was very reassuring that I could receive a new Pure heating pad under warranty. ONLY worked great for a couple of years
I bought this product about 3–4 years ago and used it a lot during the winter. As of 2/14/2026, it stopped working and the screen displayed the letter “F.” Now it’s not working at all. I’m disappointed that it only worked well for a couple of years.

Declining performance
Out of the box performance was good, ample heat. After less than a week, it does not get as hot. It seems to power down after 15-20 minutes or so. I can’t recommend.

Size Matters!
This 24" heating pad has been a game changer. My previous, very old, heating pad quit and I needed one immediately for a strained QL muscle. The length allows the pad to reach from mid back around my side to the front of my hip, all areas feeling the strain. I've used this in and off quite a bit since 10/2024. In January, the heating lead stopped working. the light just flashes when I turn it on and it no money gets warm.
