This is an actual nightmare of a product. I have horrible red burning all over my hip and upper thigh where I applied this a couple of hours ago. I am actually screaming out in paid and am crying because I am so exhausted but this burn is making it so I am unable to sleep. I want to warn people because I wish I had read these reviews first. There’s tons of them experiencing exactly what I am. I washed it off, applied vaseline, even tried the olive oil trick.

I’ve used this product before without any issue, however, something has most definitely changed in their formula. I used this product on my neck several weeks ago and experienced an intense burning sensation, redness, and skin peeling the following week. At first, I attributed this to its interaction with sunscreen and spending time outdoors following application. Yet, such was not the cause. Today, I applied this product to my knee, and calf area (big mistake) and am now experiencing intense burning hours later and redness all over the area. Nothing is helping the burning go away! I sure hope my skin doesn’t peel and blister again. Per the reviews… this needs to be discontinued.

Had bought some time in December last year, found it in the closet yesterday. Was experiencing some back pain so decided to use some of this to see if it would help any. The icy factor was very nice, until the “hot” started to kick in. Felt like my back was sitting against an open flame for nearly 3 hours. Immediately washed it off. Didn’t see anywhere on the bottle that it could cause burns.

I’m extremely disappointed in this product. It caused me second degree burns, and now I’m left dealing with pain, fear of permanent scarring, and emotional distress. I used it with the intention of self-care, and instead ended up with a serious injury. This formula is far too harsh and potentially dangerous I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Please be cautious if you’re considering this product

I used to buy Icy Hot with the foam applicator. It was wonderful! It helped my neck pain and often helped prevent a migraine. The roll on is terrible. With in minutes, it burned my skin and was not nearly as effective as the other one. I'm so sad that I can't find the foam applicator anywhere and nothing to replace it.

Now my 3rd time and put it on my hip and my upper arm shoulder area and it’s on fire ~ nothing at all has stopped this excruciating burn. It’s been hours and my sugar shot up from the pain. I’m throwing up from it. I have washed it , put ice on it , showered again, what is wrong with this, I feel as if I’m brining from my insides out. To the point of tears and yelling, this is not normal at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this today and it worked as normal through out the day, I’ve used the cream before but this is the first time using the roll on. At around 4am I woke up to a stinging burning pain as if I had gotten an actual burn. Washed the affected area a couple times and that helped a little but the burning persisted a while. If I had known this would happen, I would sooner just deal with the muscle pain.USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

I've used the icy hot cream a few times with no problems but the store didn't have any so I bought this for my back and arthritis problems, it felt cold at first like normal but then it started to burn, like really burn. I tried to wait it out at first thinking this was just the hot part but it was excruciating within a half an hour and I needed help trying to wash it off. Nothing worked to get it off of my skin and my skin is a horrible red color with blisters forming. Currently laying down over an hour later with an ice pack across my whole back almost in tears from the burning. Now instead of arthritis relief, I'm just in more pain than I was before.

Used on my achy calves before a run at noon it’s now 4pm and my calves are burning!! Rolled some on my lower back and that area is okay but my calves are not getting any relief. Tried petroleum jelly and cold compresses but they’re just red and burning. What the heck?!?

I've tried this on myself my husband and my daughter and we all get horrible chemical burns. I thought maybe I just had sense of skin but that's obviously not the case. I see hot you should never do this to me.
