Q: My sister and I both use this heating pad. The 2-Hour Auto Shutoff light at the bottom is not lit. Additionally, the heating pad cools down after about 15 minutes. Is this normal or do we each have a malfunctioning heating pad? Thank you!

Wish the neck/shoulder heating pad was wider in size. Even for an average-sized woman, the heated area does not reach or cover the full shoulder area. (Definitely not as pictured online or on the box.) It's a missed opportunity to provide relief for rotator cuff soreness! My husband and I love our 'his and hers' XL heating pads for back pain. Our cat loves them too and stares at us waiting for his turn. lol.

I have had other PURE heating pads and altho I like the shape of this one it doesn't get as warm as others and therefore doesn't help may neck and shoulders as well.

The heating pad heats up quickly and works well. The magnetic closure is a great feature, but could be bigger/stronger, and the neck area isn't quite high enough for someone like me who has a long neck, but otherwise so far so good. Irrespective of the foregoing, it is WAY better than a standard hearing pad to address muscles soreness in these particular areas.

Heat is particularly strong at the base of the neck. The magnetic clip at the throat is helpful to keep it in place. The only thing that would make it better is to have a bit more heft to it in order to press the fabric closer to the skin over the shoulders.

This neck/back pad worked "OK" for the times I used it, [which was less than a dozen times] I needed it this past weekend, so I pulled it out, and, NOTHING. Never did heat up even though eventually the little red lite came on [ flashing] and I unplugged this several times, gave it a rest, and tried again. NOTHING. No kids, No pets, carefully stored for next use. Very big disappointment as I have 4 other PUR heating products and one sound machine that I appreciate and use on a regular basis. Not a very good investment for less than a dozen times used. Also, this device has no front closer to keep it secure, and did not heat the neck area very well either. Very disappointed.

I use my neck and shoulder heating pad all the time! I have constant pressure in my neck and shoulders that cause headaches and the heating pad is so soothing for me. I keep it out on my chair. It's soft and comfortable and heats up great. It's also easy to take when I travel.

I got this as a Christmas present & I love it. It fits comfortably around my neck & shoulders. It even has magnet on each side of the pad to keep it held together at neck. I love that it has an automatic 2 hrs shut off & the material is so soft. It has 4 settings for temperature, high, med, low & warm. I workout a lot so I will be using this a lot to soothe sore muscles.
