Settings are inaccurate
I love the idea of this, but the heat settings are basically worthless. I can turn it on low and it will get so hot it starts burning me (even with clothing on) and if I turn it all the way up it’s often only slightly warm. I’ve tried all the recommendations, including unplugging both the outlet and the connector on the unit to reset it, but nothing works. It’s also not really weighted, or at least so slightly that it doesn’t do much good. The magnet for connecting the two flaps is also very weak and basically pointless. This brand has really gone down hill. It used to be such high quality but I guess everything is just cheap these days.

Pro tip - this is awesome for large surface area and the little slots meant for shoulders work well to go over your legs! The edges are weighted, too. I have endometriosis and IBS, so this thing saves my life at the office

Lot of Mehhh, for a lot of Money
This isn't a bad heating pad, it's just not a good one either. it gets kinda warm, but the biggest issue is that it doesn't really hit your neck. I think part of the problem is that it isn't very heavy, it doesn't hold onto your shoulders and neck, so what I have tried is to wrap a blanket around my neck to weigh it down and try to get it warmer. this solves some of the heat problems, it gets hot-ish but nowhere near as hot as my 10+-year-old pad does. if I'm going to put in as much effort as it takes to hold this pad in with a blanket, I'm better off just using that older pad and the blanket and taking this back. it's too expensive to be this mid.

Stopped working properly after a year!
I've had this and used on my neck pain for about year and now the red light just blinks when I plug it in. Tried "resetting" and left it alone for a few days. Then it started to work again! Well, two days later it's doing the same thing. I can't see where it's not connecting or anything. Will have to buy a new one at definitely NOT a Sunbeam brand!!

Product No Longer Works
I purchased this product about 6 months ago. I was working well until just recently which was when i started getting a "F" reading on the controller display. I tried the various troubleshooting tips that Sunbeam provided but nothing worked. I submitted a question over a week ago and have received no response. Very disappointed with this product. I will be purchasing another neck and shoulder heating pad but it wont be a Sunbeam product.

Not worth the money
Absolute trash. I purchase this today and am using it now. I have to turn it on high to even feel warmth on the back of my neck. There is no warmth to speak of that is felt in the parts that go over the shoulder. At this price point I expected so much more. I will be returning and purchasing an extra large heating pad and will drape that over my shoulders.

Not hot enough
The quality seems fine, but even on the hottest setting it seems to just translate to a vague warmth on my neck. If I touch it with my hands it feels hot enough, but it doesn't feel hot enough on my neck to relax muscles like a hot shower does.

Bad buy
Have had this heating pad for 2 weeks. Worked well for the first week. Today it literally just stopped working. Changed outlets to make sure it wasn’t that, but it just completely died. Definitely would not recommend!

Worked great for 10 months, now Error F
I got this 1 about 10 months ago and it has now started giving a F flashing error. Have tried everything that was recommended to reset it and it still gives the F error. Not only do I have this heating pad, I also have the x-large heating pad and guess what that one also gives the F error. For the amount of money these both cost I thought they would be better quality and last longer than 10 months.

No worries, we are here to help. There are several causes to a flashing control or a control displaying “FF, F1, or F2”: 1. Product is plugged into an extension cord/surge protector and not plugged into a direct wall outlet. 2. Product wasn't plugged in properly. To FIX this problem, do the following to reset your product: 1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. 2. Unplug the cord from the actual product itself (if your product has a detachable cord) 3. Re-plug the cord into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.(if your product has a detachable cord) 4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet. Your Sunbeam® Renue Neck & Shoulder Wrap has a 5-year limited warranty. Terrible
It turned automatically off within 10 minutes, and it doesn't get hot at all. Do not buy.

Control Blinking, No Heat or No power may be an indicator that the product is not receiving enough power from the source. To fix this problem, please follow these troubleshooting steps in order: 1. Unplug the heating pad from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds 2. Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating pad 3. Verify the connection between the heating pad and the controller is tight 4. Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Be sure that this heated product is used only on an AC supply circuit of the proper voltage. Do not use with an extension cord. Do not use with generators, power converters or inverters. 5. Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional. 6. Try plugging the heating pad into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet.
