Q: Does this game require online membership to play?
A: The “AllKnowingPokemonSensei” hardly seems to know what they’re talking about. Allow me to make it clear: you DO need Nintendo Online membership if you want to Battle or Trade online with people around the world. You DO NOT need online membership to trade and battle people next to you, your systems can connect with BlueTooth. To play the regular game quest, obviously No, you don’t need Internet lol.
submitted byRaucePowers - 7 years agoA: It doesn't require online membership. But, I think you will have to get it in order to trade with other people around the world. To answer your question, the game is playable, even if you don't have the membership. Your Welcome!
