Each knife is hand-honed in Seki, Japan using traditional Japanese sharpening methods, resulting in scalpel like sharpness that glides effortlessly through food. The uniquely shaped handle is ergonomically designed to be comfortable in the hand. Constructed of Rosewood Pakka wood, the MIYABI Artisan handle features decorative accents and a stainless steel endcap, enhancing its striking appearance.

This is the absolute perfect knife for a chef or home cook. The grip is designed so well and balanced meticulously and fits my hand grip perfectly. The way this knife is weighted is also perfect! Allows for speed and accuracy.

This is the perfect kitchen knife, it’s replaced nearly all of my other knives because it does everything so beautifully. I have smaller hands and the weight is comfortable, it’s easy to feel in control of the knife. I’d recommend this knife to any home chef.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is stunning right out of the box. The immediate thing I noticed was its weight. This is not a light knife. The 6” version feels a bit handle-heavy but this seems to fade away with use. The 8” version of this knife feels a bit more balanced weight-wise. The fit and finish of this knife is superb. The edge seems to be extremely sharp right out of the box, which, is what I would expect of course given the quality of this blade. I cannot yet speak for it’s edge retention over a long period of time but, I expect it to be very good given it’s hardness. One of these knives will be a gift to my brother who is beginning his journey into his food passion and will hopefully stay with him for his whole life.
