These are super creamy, pigmented and once set don't budge. My only critique is that this shade doesn't apply as easily on the waterline. You have to give it a few passes.

I purchased this in September. I had other eyeliners I was using. I used it for the first time today. I was disappointed that I couldn't get the pencil to glide easily. It was hard to get a line that looked good. Sadly, it's too late for me to return this.

Oh no, Ruth, we want you to love all your MAC products. Have you tried stroking it on the back of your hand several times to warm and soften the product prior to lining your eyes? It's one of our favourite fixes!

This eyeliner is so easy to work with and I love that its retractable. It feels smoother than a pencil but not as messy as liquid eyeliner. So easy to fix up any mistakes and I always get compliments!

These MAC eyeliners are the only ones that I use. I have tried many brands, this is the only brand that does not smear when it gets wet or is very hot outside! I love these MAC eyeliners!

What I tried in store was really pigmented and glided across my eyelid like butter! But the product I bought online feels much drier...I m having to tug it on my eyelid...it works okay on my waterline though...not very satisfied with the product...

I loved this eyeliner in the past for its ability to be smooth application and staying power. This version of it was a disappointment especially for the price point. It didn't seem to go on easily and I had to apply way too many times to get a line in my watermark area. won't buy again

I've been searching for an eye liner that doesn't weep down my face and this one fills the bill. The color is good and is pretty easy to remove with makeup remover.

This eyeliner has great pigment and has great longevity. Would probably be best for tightlining or waterline liner. I bought this to use as an upper lid eyeliner to smudge into a wing. And once you place the liner, it is unmoving entirely. Not great for a subtle blended look.

After trying many eyeliners over the years, I am forever grateful for the person at Ulta who suggested this gel one from Mac. It glides on so easily and is the perfect shade of brown. I just ordered it in two other colors because it is the smoothest application ever.

The MAC gel pencil did not work well for me. I had to go over my waterline a few times to get it to appear. even when it did, the color was so faint. the pencil just hurt my eye.

First- it's the deep blue I prefer to black. Not nearly as harsh. Second - it goes on very well. Gives a clean line easily without tugging skin. Third - it's very waterproof and really stays.

They don't last too long on the waterline, but apply super creamy and set on the eyelid well. I will mention Perpetual Shock is a bit sheer compared to some of the other colors, and needed built up.
