I am using two of these lights over my kitchen island. It was a bit of a challenge to find just the right pendants for this space, but with Inga's guidance (she is a Lamps Plus lighting designer) I think I made the right choice. Ask for her if you need suggestions and she will go out of her way to help you!
Beware of embossed wording on cylinder over shade

We were sad when we made the immediate decision to return the three lights we had purchased. We loved the "seeded" glass and the "rims" on the shade. However, upon installation, it was only then we noticed that the UL [Underwriters Laboratory mark], the company name, and a middle descriptor line were embossed in the "cylinder" above the glass shade. This embossed wording is clearly to be seen on the photo, which we did not notice upon purchasing. These embossed words are very evident and not appropriate for such showcase lighting over a kitchen counter.
