The biggest reason why is because each bar has lots of Fiber in them (10 grams in this one) and most protein bars lack fiber! This Quest Strawberry Shortcake Protein bar is spot on Strawberry Cake!! Consistency is typical for a protein bar, not too chewy, not too hard. It’s similar to a well cooked brownie. The Flavor on this bar is 5/5 spot on, tastes great! Not too sweet either! I highly recommend the Strawberry Shortcake Quest bar if you haven’t tried it. This is a nice sweet treat for the mornings, after workouts, at night. The great thing is if you’re on a strict diet you can have these! It almost feels like cheating on your diet haha! I highly recommend this flavor and Quest Protein bars in general!

That being said I am always searching for one that I like because I think it’s an easy way to eat something healthy that fills you up on the go. The texture was typical to most bars I’ve tried with the exception of it not being quite as dense as one would expect. The flavor was good but if you are not a fan of articulation sweet era be warned that you can taste the sucralose. It is low in sugar and has 10 grams of fiber which is a big plus for me.

Lemon was my previous favorite, but the lemon is softer and holds its shape less in the heat. Not a super fan of the cookie bits there either but great bar flavor overall. No issues with the Strawberry Shortcake at all. The strawberry consistent throughout except for streaks of strawberry flavor. So, now choose this bar over lemon, although I like them both, A winner here with this new Strawberry Shortcake.

It has a nice balance of sweetness and real strawberry flavor without being overwhelming. The texture is soft and chewy, and the white chocolate chunks add a nice touch. With 20g of protein and low sugar, it’s great for a post-workout snack or quick meal on the go. It’s one of the better-tasting protein bars I’ve tried and doesn’t have that weird aftertaste some bars do. Definitely a new favorite!

The flavor is there but I just can’t with the texture — it’s so powdery like protein! I guess on a diet it’s a decent treat, but I’d honestly choose many protein bars before this one. It looks better than it tastes unfortunately. Just my honest opinion:(
