I love that these low price ones came out this year. I would say it looked a little smaller than others but you can't beat the price. My kids are rough on their backpack so I got their regular character ones (5&7yr olds) and bought one of these for a backup for the inevitable day they break their character ones. The material is skinnier than I would like but that's personal preference. We haven't used it yet so I can't say how long it will last but it seems solid.

Well made backpack. It has a large front pocket that can hold a lot of stuff. It also has a dedicated pouch inside for a laptop or tablet that is padded for protection. The straps have a decent amount of padding for comfort when carrying.

I was shocked at how good the stitching is on the straps. I really expected the stitching to be very cheap because of the low price. Some people have reported issues with bad zippers. The zipper seems to be sturdy enough. I don't think I'd use this for a lot of heavy items but it's perfect for a 3K-K aged child.
