Jar Candle - Threshold™

This candle looks very luxe and the smell reminds me of a classy men's cologne. Exterior is velvety with gold letters. The letters in person look slightly uneven but it's hardly noticeable. Would make an excellent gift!

I love this marshmallow suede candle! The scent has a chill and calming vibe to it. It's pleasant and not perfume-y or too artificial smelling. Its fragrance lasts for a good amount of time after each use. Highly recommend! Nice for summer, but would be perfect for fall.

The scent of this candle is luxurious and calming! I love a sandal candle and this one didn’t disappoint. It smells like a high end candle and the velvet container adds a touch of elegance to any room!

This candle is so amazing! It smells delicious, looks beautiful and feels so darn soft. The outside of the candle feels great and I would love more like this! I will definitely be buying and hoping for other scents.

This candle is beautiful, and unique in the fact that the outside feels velvety, which is cute, since the scent is Velvet Santal. As soon as I opened my package, the smell was incredible! I loved it right away. However, it doesn't smell as strong when it's lit as I was hoping it would. The letters on the "velvet" are cute but almost immediately started falling off, just while handing the candle - as you can see on my photo, it now reads "elvet santal". Haha. The candle is a nice size, and I really like the scent, I just wish the scent was stronger while burning it.

This Velvet Jar Candle in the scent Marshmallow Suede not only looks but also feels classy. You can definitely smell the marshmallow in this candle. I look forward to burning this candle for months to come.

I was fairly impressed with this candle overall. It burned evenly and consistently, and the scent was very enjoyable — not too overpowering, but still noticeable enough to fill the room. That said, there are two things that took away from the experience. First, Target really needs to include clear images of the actual products in the request section. This isn’t the first time I’ve received something and had no idea what it was supposed to be because there was no photo provided. It’s becoming increasingly frustrating and leads to confusion and disappointment. Second, while the outer white suede-style look of the candle is really beautiful, the inside of the glass became completely blackened from the burn, which creates a harsh contrast and takes away from the aesthetic. It would be great if the design could better account for that going forward. All in all, I did enjoy the candle and would consider buying it again — but there’s definitely room for improvement, both in presentation and in Target’s communication during the ordering process. Also, I have no idea how much this candle costs so I can’t comment on its value for its price.

The velvet texture of this candle is exquisite. It really elevates the look of an ordinary item! It is generously sized too. The scent is pretty faint though (but still pleasant!). I’m also not a huge fan of the gold lettering on the side of the candle but this can easily be hidden.

This candle has a nice and updated modern luxurious blue velvet look. It’s scent is similar to that in a fashion brand perfume/cologne. It’s well packaged and makes a wonderful gift especially for housewarming. Candle lights easily and smoke is not overwhelming.
