No scent came out of the bottle. It dries pretty quick compared to other nail polishes I have tried. I would definitely recommend this top coat to everyone.

Then I went in with this top coat which is very sheer. I used two coats to really build up the color. Unfortunately it is not a good top coat as my manicure lasted about 3 days before bad chipping. Next time I will use a top coat but it is gorgeous and made this set look like mermaid nails.

I tried it over a few different colors: blue, pink, white, even on bare nails, and I just couldn’t get into the finish. Nothing looked quite right. Maybe it works better with a different combo or style, but it just wasn’t my vibe.

It applied smoothly and got the color payoff I wanted in two coats. My only complaint is that I am a lower maintenance nail person, and this took a few too many steps to get the look I desired.

I've found that it's crucial to apply it in very thin layers and only after your last coat of color is completely dry. If the layer is too thick, or the color isn't set, it will literally never dry properly.
