features a Fully Integrated Control Microphone ideal for vehicles with limited dashboard space, allowing the radio base unit to be stashed away. Transmit with authority on 15 GMRS channels and 8 repeater channels. The MXT275 is equipped with NOAA Weather Alert Radio + Weather Scan technology to keep you informed on local weather conditions. This kit includes a flip frame detachable mount, magnetic mount antenna, and 12 Volt power cord. As with all of the MicroMobiles®, the MXT275 is compatible with all Midland FRS/GMRS handheld walkie talkies and MicroMobiles®. This in-unit radio is perfect for farmers, overlanders and RVers."

Very pleased. This is a good price/range point. Very clear reception. My best range in the central Maryland area (rolling hills) 45 miles. MXTA26 antenna (32", 6db) on roof of my car. I used this tool: https://www.heywhatsthat.com/profiler.htm. Experimentation seems to prove it out. It factors in atmospheric refraction which helps go beyond pure line of sight. Terrain was favorable.

Installed two of these in our trucks with the Mag base and the MXT 26 Antenna. Living in West Central Michigan, there is varying terrain conditions, hills, some very wooded areas, and open farmland. The radios performed great between our two vehicles! 8.5 miles apart with our communications being great! Only thing that stopped us was a very, very large hill. Radio build Quality is good, easy to use and to see screen on the mic with large channel numbers for old eyes.

Bought this for my son to use around the place and around town to keep in touch. Works great and is easy to program. Works well with the other Midland equipment that we use. I would recommend this little radio.

Love this radio .........works great , I have three of them and now we have a repeater in the area. I can hit the repeater from forty miles away ! Being that I am loosing my hearing little by little it really makes it nice having a speaker in the microphone .

The MXT275 I think is the perfect radio for my needs. Easily mounts anywhere you want especially if you want it concealed. I had mine mounted underneath the cluster or above the pedals. I highly recommend this for those who want a minimalist set-up.

If you need a plug and play unit as I did, this was it! In a matter of minutes the radio was up and running great. Antenna was surprisingly good for the size and the unit is simple to operate. I would not hesitate to buy this package again

As a reviewer of mainly ham radios, I've had the opportunity to use lots of different radios on the market. First off, the build quality is first rate on this unit. Installation in my Jeep was literally 5 minutes. The base unit disappears as it should. All the controls are in the mic. Basic functions are intuitive. Now, if you want to program in a few repeaters it gets a bit more cryptic. I'm not a huge fan of Midlands function codes. They could have made better use of the screen size or in my opinion offer the optional larger screen mic as an option at purchase. It would be nice to have the option to save your programmed setup to install on additional MXT units. I'll be reviewing this on my channel, youtube.com/k6uda
