Frequently complimented!
I love this table - it is simple and elegant, and garners lots of compliments. We bought the matching bench and had a set of chestnut Windsor-style chairs, and the entire ensemble looks great together. My only comment (and the cause of the 4 star review) is that the wood is soft and can ding easily. I would recommend a clear plastic/acrylic cover to prevent damage.

Poor quality for price
This table is available from multiple retailers, I ordered from Target so I could get free delivery and returns, and thankfully I did. I bought this for my office space to be used as a workspace for several people sitting at it - but I bought and assembled it before we opened, so it was never used by anyone. This was difficult to assemble (much harder than a typical IKEA or flatpack piece of furniture) - things didn't fit together well, etc. Additionally, there were multiple dings and little cracks on the table that were annoying given its high price, but not bad enough where I was willing to send it back and wait for a replacement. However - once assembled, it sat in my space for a few weeks untouched before we opened - and during that time, it developed a large, long crack down the center of the table. Significant and noticeable. At this point I knew I had to return it, as the crack literally got bigger if any weight was put on the tabletop. So we had to spend the time and energy to disassemble this table which had been such a pain to assemble, and then find multiple boxes to pack it up in, to return. Not worth the time, effort or for sure the money! The other tables I got for my space were half the price and much better quality.
