Emerald Electric Single Burner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need an extra single burner for warming, cooking or quick uses, this unit is perfect. Take care with placement and be sure that the cord isn't able to be pulled, taking the burner with it. I put down a non-skid sheet of shelf liner and the unit won't slide. The burner itself works perfectly, just like any electric burner. Everyone needs one of these from apartment or dorm dwellers to large full kitchen homes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is perfect for those times where you can't access the kitchen but you do have a plug. This light weighted and compact single burner lets you take it anywhere. But to get the water to boiling point took forever (estimated time around 23 minutes ) Other than that, this worked completely fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got this burner, I was skeptical as it was small and lightweight but after trying it out it served its purpose. I used an 8" skillet to fry up my breakfast and it worked great. It heated up just as quick as the burner on my range. I don't think it would work as well if you put a large skillet on as it wouldn't heat up the outer perimeter of it but for the size it worked well. This will be nice to have on hand if our regular range is out of action or for camping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This single burner is great it makes up for a burner that went out on my stove, it allows for you to plug it in and 2 people can cook opposite sides of the kitchen. You can take it camping but you need an electrical outlet.

Works great, can use this to heat up stuff or to cook on. Very happy with this electric burner.

It is small and very lightweight so packing it and storing it is a breeze! It heats up quickly with decent temp control. This would be perfect for the dorm or to bring to a pot luck. Great find!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My entire family loves to fish and golf and go camping; but, the majority of campsites do not have adequate cooking facilities. I love to cook fresh fish whenever I can; so, I decided to buy a convenient portable burner to have a way of cooking our meals at all times. After doing a little online research, I chose the Emerald electric single burner. I like the burner's full size, portability, and easy cleaning design but sadly my burner did not work properly. When I plugged the electric burner in and powered it up, it immediately turned itself off. I did this several times but I could never get the burner to stay on long enough to cook anything. Very DISAPPOINTED!

Her husband and her are vegan as well as their twin baby daughters and I am not. So I usually cook my meal after they have and don't really eat at same time them. This burner is so perfect I cook my meal at the same time and it boils and simmers the food . The dial adjusts from low to high I love it. It's small and a beautiful shiny white and cleans easy! It fits in my suitcase with rest of my clothes and is lightweight so it's not noticable weight in my luggage at all! If you travel get this burner it's awesome and handy. No more sandwiches for supper!

Takes a bit longer to cook than usual but works pretty good. These aren’t super expensive and can really help you get away from just microwaved food. Perfect for traveling also!

I needed a countertop burner for my studio while my cottage was being re-built. Easy temperature knob from low to high. I only wish the burner was a little bigger so I could use a large skillet on it. That is the only reason I gave it four stars.

I use it for making tea in my room (if I'm feeling to lazy to go into the kitchen.) I use it for when all of my stove eyes in use. I love this product because I have moble heat options and I love it. It's very cute and nice to have on hand. It's pretty large too by the way,is say it's about the size of a medium stove eye. I will definitely purchase more as it has really helped me in many situations of life and laziness.
