A: The canopy is made of woven rattan with an open-weave design, which softens light intensity for a more comfortable seating experience but can not block sunlight completely. If you’re looking for stronger sun protection, we recommend pairing the chair with a freestanding umbrella or placing it in a naturally shaded area.
