Birds Choice Bird Feeder, Finch, 1 qt Acrylic/Stainless Steel Tube Mesh, Yellow

When I received this and opened the box I was not a happy camper. The mesh surrounding the feeder was terribly bent and did not close above the bottom copper piece. When I put the thistle in it poured out. No matter how meticulously I reset the mesh in the bottom piece it did not fully fit. So after many attempts at working the mesh to fit without losing copious amounts of thistle I made it work. I have a lot of birds feeding from it now, and the backyard squirrel can’t “steal” any food! I’m seriously thinking about purchasing another one for my neighbor…but I’ll open it first in case I need to make it usable.

Hung where the other finch feeder was and one came to it ,hopped around it and flew off. No more have come to it and I have a lot of finches. I guess they don't like the new feeder on the pole. Left it there for a few days and just took it down. Will try again sometime later .

This feeder is attractive and it works! I filled it with the Finch Feast food and my little bird friends were clinging to the sides within a few minutes! Couldn't be happier.

I love the look of this feeder and its little pop of color. But, I was really impressed when a squirrel managed to knock the feeder down onto the patio twice and there was absolutely no damage to the feeder--it's really well built. I've since moved the feeder to a safer location, but I'm impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great minimalist bird feeder. The stainless steel screen makes it extra durable and the splash of color is just enough to look cute in the garden.

Good quality, and the house finches love it. It truly is all metal. (Other feeders advertised as "all metal construction" had plastic parts.) I am seeing fewer sparrows at the feeder because of the absence of saucer or perches. I like how the cable that holds the feeder is attached securely at the bottom, while many other feeders are suspended from the lid (which means that if the lid fails to attach well, the feeder will fall). It is easy to open and fill. Of all the finch feeders I've tried, this is my favorite.

This feeder is a plastic with a mesh screen that allows the smaller birds to feed. It is very easy to fill and stays secure. I have gotten as many as 8 birds on it at one time! I am really enjoying this feeder and the beautiful birds that it attracts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of our favorite backyard activities is watching the birds & squirrels at the various feeders that we put out for them. I wanted this Small Nyjer Seed Feeder so that the smaller birds would have a place to get seed without the larger birds scaring them away. This cute little feeder has a bright yellow top & bottom with a stainless steel feed tube. It is easy to fill by pinching the clasp to move the top to the side. Then just fill it with seed, secure the top again & hang it by the wire that is attached. We first hung this feeder on the pole with some other feeders but the larger birds tried to use it but were really just swinging it around because they were too big. We now have it hanging under the eave of the house outside of our kitchen window so that we can get a close-up look at the smaller birds that use this feeder regularly. Our small bird friends seem to love this feeder.
