Ibn Arabi, the Book and the Law have profoundly influenced not only those who attended his courses at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (Paris), but also numerous colleagues and young researchers. In this volume dedicated to his memory, they wish to bear witness to their gratitude and their debt to a fertile work that has borne much fruit, as this volume shows. The studies gathered here focus first on different aspects of Ibn al-ʿArabī's work, on its antecedents and extensions, and finally on various paths to holiness, right up to our own time.
