It is not overly soft, but definitely helps keep you warm. I have a feeling the cotton will get softer with each wash. It has a nice braided pattern and bright white color to match any decor well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Madison Park Liquid Cotton Blanket in exchange for my honest review. The blanket I received is a subtle, pretty blue that blends well with our decor. I was curious to find out what “liquid cotton” means, and the material is very nice. It is textured but also has a silky smooth feel to it. Since receiving the blanket, we’ve experienced everything from a fall heat wave to below freezing temperatures. In warm weather, it would be a great substitute for a heavy comforter. It’s cooling but has enough weight to it to be a good sleeping blanket. It still has a bit of a cooling feel in cold weather when used alone, but it has been a great extra layer for the coldest days. The only downside is that it did snag fairly easy on a basket. Other than that, I’m so happy with the blanket and would absolutely recommend it!

The name of this blanket is "liquid cotton" and I am disappointed in the feel. It is not as soft as I expected based on the name. But it is a good blanket and I would buy more in the future.

I was worried it would be a snagging issue for my dogs who sleep in bed with me but it hasn’t been. As long as I keep their nails trimmed and smoothed well, it’s no problem. The blanket has a very tight weave that makes it warm and also visually appealing. It covers very well and is sturdy yet soft, with a lovely drape. I have included pictures of the pattern of the weave so you can see. It’s very pretty. Taking care of it has been easy. It’s gotten softer, and held up well. No pills or furring. The color I received is a light buttery cream color, good for any time of year, in my home. We keep our house cold year-round, so we use blankets a lot and have a large collection. This is a welcome addition.

The liquid part maybe means it’s soft? I’m not sure. It washes well and is a very pretty color yellow. I love the size. Only down fall is my ring catches on it.

My room gets really hot during the summer. I used to wake up in the middle of the night just to kick off my “winter” blanket. My old blanket is now my designated winter blanket because this blanket is my official summer blanket.

Even though they have a texture to them the material glides over you. Plus they don't cause you to have night sweats or stay damp from sweating. And my kids love to fight over the blanket which is why I will be getting a few more of them
