It states that it’s washable but it’s not. Meaning that it creases and the back liner color seeps into the colors of the rug making it look dark and dingy after washing. Would not recommend using the rug in a high traffic area where you need to wash it.

We’re sorry that you had a poor experience with our product. We strive to assure that only top-quality products carry the Safavieh brand. Please machine wash with cold water using a commercial-sized front-load machine (do not use bleach). Line drying is recommended. If using a dryer, do not use heat. Use an air-only dry cycle. A low heat iron can be used if needed. In most cases, all you need to do is lay your Safavieh rug flat, and the waves/wrinkles/creases will even themselves out.
