It was a very good product, unfortunately the flavor strength varies between bags. The first two bags of Mocha were excellent and prompted me to try the vanilla. The first of bag of vanilla was excellent too, but the next couple of bags were not as strong. The Mocha, like the Java, also seem to just taste like plain chicory.

Great taste!! I can't use coffee because I have interstitial cystitis, and regular coffee has too much acid. So I tried Teeccino Herbal Coffee because it doesn't have acid, and other users where saying the taste was very good almost like coffee. And I love this beverage, the taste is so like the coffee but much better. In my opinion, it tastes like mocha. The aroma is wonderful too.

If you are on the chicory band wagon, especially if you miss coffee and cannot drink any coffee, then this is the flavor to buy. It is the strongest, and most true to what I feel you might expect when purchasing vanilla nut roast. Skip the other flavors because they are too weak, and all you will taste is that sweet tone of chicory, chicory, chicory, chicory, chicory. It makes a sad situation of not being able to drink coffee more sad. CHOOSE VANILLA NUT! And, buy it onsale. Becasue it's really ,really expensive at neraly $10 a bag plus shipping. But Swanson's sales make it the best deal on the Internet. So buy while it's onsale and you'll be happy campers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This "coffee" by Teechino is my go to because I love it so much. I put a Cinnamon Stick in my mug also and that gives me a cinnamon flavor also. I love that this coffee has no Acid and no Caffeine. If I want a little caffeine then I add some caffeine coffee to these grounds.

Vanilla Nut is one of my favorite flavors of Teeccino. I use a french press and let it steep for about 10 minutes and add stevia to taste. Delicious alternative to coffee and good for you as well.

I was pleasantly surprised with this coffee. It is slightly sweet and refreshing. A good coffee to have with dessert. It is a nice change from regular coffee and tea. It has a unique, but pleasant flavor, richer than tea, but easier on the stomach then regular coffee, and the fact that it is organic makes it even more appealing. The price is right too!

I recommend trying this slowly if it's your first time, or mixing it with coffee instead of going for the product by itself. This gave me heavy, violent gastrointestinal problems the first time I used it (probably due to the inulin) but I slowed my intake and my body gradually because used to it. I'm trying this in place of coffee 1) because of taste 2) because it is less acidic.
