What a let down!
although this is a good looking unit, felt as it was of good quality and installed easy enough im so disappointed as less then a year later its been leaking out of the spout, at first the cold and within a week the hot as well im guessing it needs new cartridges? my last moen served us well for 10 years maybe more before this happened which i thought was a good run so i installed this in my second bath only to be let down ..so frustrating!

Faulty faucets
We had someone install this in our new shower. The only way it will work is the cold water handle has to go up to turn on and the hot water handle has to go down for it to come on. This is ridiculous! Is there anyway to fix this problem?

Bathtub
Well built product, other than the little valve covers may need to have possibly been aluminum. That plastic may break on some installs and can't easily be replaced.

very cheaply constructed do not buy
Purchased new and installed. Apparently, there is a problem with the cartridge unit in these units. I am having the same problem as others are having with this unit. the knob just ratchets and does not engage. Now I have to remove it and return this unit. I am very frustrated will never buy another moen product if I can help it. Very poorly constructed.

really moen?
this product is to cheep for the moen name I would gladly pay more for a little more brass. My plumbing is hard to changs so i am forced to use the same model number. I use as much care as I can when installing but after a few years the brass pipes rot away and start to leak, causing a mess and water damage. can you not use thicker brass pipes? this product last aboutr 3 years and is the 3ed one I've installed.

Wobbly handles and shower doesn't work properly
Installed by a professional who had upon installation discovered missing parts which Moen sent fairly quickly. The handles were very difficult to align and install and after a few uses became loose and now spin on both hot and cold. To turn on, adjust water temp, and turn off water one must push on the handles and turn slowly to try and catch the valve stem just right. The shower runs when tub is being filled and the tub spout has a low stream of water when shower is being used. I am a faithful MOEN customer and this is by far not the product standard I am accustomed to. I am very unsatisfied with this product and would not recommend this particular model at all. Unfortunately the only remedy seems to be a total replacement with a different product. A total waste of money

Hello Customer and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Moen website. We are sorry to hear that after installing the Moen Adler Standard two-handle tub/shower you have had a difficulty with using/aligning the handles. The following link is for additional instructions for the handle installation and operation: https://solutions.moen.com/Article_Library/My_Shower_Handle_is_Not_Rotating_Correctly_after_Installing_the_90274 We are also sorry to hear that after installing the Moen Adler Standard two-handle tub/shower when you run water out of the tub spout you also have water coming out of the showerhead. What you have described is a condition referred to as “stacking”. This condition can best be described as the water leaving the tub spout is not able to get out of the spout fast enough that the water begins to back-up behind the wall. The only place for the water to back-up, is up the shower pipe and out the showerhead. The following is a link for additional information: https://solutions.moen.com/Article_Library/What_is_a_Stacking_Leak%3F We are sending you an email to get further information and to assist with troubleshooting these issues for you.

Not Worth the Money
The faucet and other parts are plastic, not metal. the shower head runs when you fill the tub. After you pull up the knob to turn on the shower, water spills out of a hole on the underside of the faucet near the wall. The handles are hard to properly align. It looks nice, but it's not what I was hoping for.

Aweful product
Tabs for hot & cold are not the right 1’s so Cant use them. The cold water handle is a pita to try to get aligned & to actually function....usually have to use the screw or pliers to turn the cold water off. Made of plastic so can’t even squeeze pliers hard or it will break. It’s such a project just to adjust the water temp so my son can get a shower! 2hours & he’s still not able to get washed bc it’s a pain in the ***** I’m super mad & irritated & I want a different set but we spent way more then we wanted to get the diverter & this piece of ****set!! Never again will I buy anything moen!!

Low quality
I expected a better product from Moen. I use Moen every time I replace faucets. This one was not up to Moen standards. The cold faucet handle didnt line up probably right out of the box. I settled to have the handle off.

Poor quality
I installed the faucet myself, Im not a plumber by trade but I am a self employed mechanic, I was shocked by the quality of the faucet and shower head. PLASTIC? It was missing parts and thats what really had me frustrated. Its installed correctly and neatly, Just have the thought in the back of my mind how long its going too last.

Pain in the butt, poor quality
The brass diverter is too flimsy and came bent out of shape right out of the box, making it a nightmare to get aligned and secured. The handles arent even or level due to the bent brass diverter. Plastic stems are very fragile, don't use too much force turning handles on and off or they will snap. Very disappointed in this. Also, the hot water inlet make NPT thread has a very slow drip, no matter how much tape/dope I use or how tight I make it.
