[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a few weeks ago. My two year old has used these multiple times and they've been washed. They held up well. Very sturdy and nice colors. Perfect size for small hands. I will definetly reccomend these utensils to other parents.

They were easy to sharpen and the writing was smooth. I actually think they were able to control these pencil better which caused their writing to look much better than normal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using My First Ticonderoga Pencils American Wood Logo with Sharpener for several weeks now and I’m absolutely impressed with the way my lo’s can get a nice grip to write with these pencils which is making learning to write a whole lot easier. I’ve also learned these are much easier for my wife to get a grip on since they’re fatter and she doesn’t have to use her fingers to grip tighter as she would with a regular size pencil, she has osteoarthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome so I’m very happy to give “My First Tic American Wood Logo pencils” the highest possible rating. This 4 count pack comes with a sharpener making it easier to sharpen since they don’t fit in the regular sized sharpeners; the eraser is top quality as well and gets the job done quicker since it’s bigger. The #2 graphite makes it easier for my lo’s to write with since they’re top quality for performance. I will most definitely make this a regular staple in my household and I would highly recommend this product for younger children, anyone suffering with arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. I’m giving this product the highest possible rating, as stated above, because in my own honest opinion, they deserve the highest possible rating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son needed penicls too learn how to write with and they came in handy. Easy too sharpen to hold to grip and use the earser good. They have really helped him improve with his writting and also tracing all his alphabet letters.

They're perfect for little hands just learning to write and the pencil sharpener that's included is handy and easy to use. These pencils last and sharpen very well. Very pleased with these pencils.

The lead point is bigger too, I feel like it's perfect for small Childer and those that don't have a good grip strength. I also liked that these were pre-sharppened.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can say these were wonderful for my 5 year old. He has just recently really started trying to write. Before he would with crayons or markers but the smaller pencils I guess just seemed awkward for him. He's doing so good with them!!

These pencils worked well for all of them but especially for my kindergartner. They were move for his age. The included sharperner was great also. Would definitely purchase again.

They are thick which make it easier for those just learning how to grip a pencil. I also really appreciate that they come with a sharpener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is in Pre-school and learning to write. He really enjoyed using the larger pencils, they fit in his hand well. Larger eraser is always better. Pencil sharpener is easy use but might take him some time to get used to.

He has been going through OT to develop his fine motor skills and these pencils are a great complement to that therapy. The size of the pencil makes it easy to grip. These are great.

Children just learning to write don't know how much pressure to use right away, and their writing sometimes comes out too light. Not with these pencils! The lead is dark and easy to read. This pack comes with four pencils and a sharpener. I recommend having the child sharpen the pencils with an adult. The sharpener is not for a younger child to use alone. I recommend this set to anyone that has a child just beginning to learn how to write.

However, these are a little larger and she is more able to grab it with her small little hands. I highly recommend these for anyone who is taking their children to kindergarten or Pre-K for the first time as it may make it easier for them to do their practicing with work.
