Designers Fountain Midtown 1 - Light Semi-Flush Mount in Polished Nickel

I placed mine in a hallway and it gives off the perfect amount of light. I was easily able to install the fixture on my own with the directions. It gives the hallway a modern feel that looks just stunning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Designers Fountain Midtown Light Polished Nickel with a semi flush mount has a natural white fabric shade and shimmering polished nickel finish that will go with any decor, simple or elegant it's a beautiful light. The light is 11 inces in width. This uses 1 medium base 60W max bulb and has the shade that that softens light. This is compatible with any standard wall dimmers. This is a great price for small to medium sized rooms or hallways and entryways. This price is lightweight and per my husband easy to install. We are very happy with this pretty light fixture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think alot of entry ways have a "boob light" in them, and mine had been upgraded, likely in the nineties, to something sort of ornate with three fluted shades...not at all our style. This simple, streamlined fixture seemed to fit the bill and, after installation, I can say its perfect! Two things, though- one, the installation instructions are garbage...they may as well not even be included. A quick youtube search clarified for me how to install a new fixture, though, so it all worked out. If you are a person for whom installing new fixtures is not routine, know that you can do this! But you'll need to find your own resources. And secondly, the base is off center with the shade. It's not a little off center, its very apparent, so clearly this is intentional in the design, but I don't love it. It doesn't bother me enough to change the fixture but, had i realized beforehand, this might have swayed me away from using it. The more you know!
