Fan is good. But my smart bulbs will not fit in the fixture, not enough clearance. Pain in the backend.

Still waiting for our electrician to install the fan, but it looks lovely in the box. Cant wait to try it as we loved our previous Hunter Fans.

The fan fits perfectly in our 10 x 10 room and provides very good airflow. The blade and housing color fits with the rest of the room very well. The fan is extremely quiet, so it's not going to disturb any activity that might be going on (reading, etc). I thought that the chain hanging down might hit me in the head when I walk by, but there's 5' 10" of clearance, so unless you're over 5'10" tall, you won't hit it. I am extremely happy with this fan and would highly recommend it.

I bought 3 of the Newsome Low Profile fans. They match the light fixtures in my house. They all came with a yellowish glass globes. Unfortunately, that diminishes the lighting in the room. Luckily the electrician broke one of the globes, and ordered another...and it was white!!! Much better, and we also increase the wattage of the light bulbs. So there are white glass globes available, to replace the yellowish ones. Part Number K070201146 Globe/Shade. The motor is not quiet, although called whisper, it has a clicking sound all 3 of the fans demonstrate this clicking sound.

Easy to install without remote. Had to install a ceiling fan support junction box in the attic. Fan is quiet and looks great. Bought 3 of them for the bedrooms in our home. Web promo gave us free remote for each one. The remote box was easy to install. However the instructions to pair were not well written and it took 2 to 3 tries to pair the remote. Also make sure the fan is set to high using the pull chain or the remote will only run at much slower speeds. But even with the difficulty we are happy with the fans.

I love my ceiling fan but we have high ceilings and the amber globe it came with does not produce enough light. I would hate to have to buy another ceiling fan as this one is only a little over a year old. Is it possible to buy a clear globe or any other type other than the amber?

The fan is just what I was wanting for the room I put it in. Looks great and hopefully it will work for a while as my last one "petered out" rather early and it was only the light portion and you all had no other parts available so a new fan was the only way to go. Bummer.

we purchased this for a kitchen about 10x10 feet. while it looks nice is is pretty low profile, it barely moves any air. our old hunter fan was much better, but noisier, but it started making noise after 15 years. i've noticed that every new hunter fan i've purchased int he last couple years spins slower than the unit it is replacing.

I don't like that it isn't completely flush with the ceiling.

I replaced two ceiling fans with lights, with two Newsome Low Profiles. It's about a year later and I'm very happy with these. They are quiet, reliable and don't wobble.

Love it! Very installation. There was one area that was missing instructions, but it made sense and was not an issue.

I was replacing another Hunter fan the I had installed just about 5 years ago because the light draw string no longer worked. I ordered another Hunter fan and installed but no matter what I've tried, the fan "clicks" as it turns. I did check online and followed all the how-to's to trouble shoot. Took it apart and tightened the screws, rechecked the installation and still "click click click click". It must just not be a quiet fan. The blades are short so be careful that you're not looking for a lot of air circulation. On a bright note, the light is great (no pun intended).

A timeless looking fan. Very classic and clean looking. Looks great in a small bedroom!

Needs a foam gasket where the fan housing meets the ceiling to eliminate light coming through. Otherwise fan is quiet and appears to be well made

3 Newsome 42-inch low profile fans for bedrooms with LED lights do just what we wanted.

Received in good condition. Fan and light work fine. Parts packages not marked well. Not enough screws provided. No wiring instructions for middle of the run light switch.
