Oddly, it is hard to find a good jar opener. I had one and it finally wore out. I saw this one and, after having purchased several others that were useless to me, decided to try one more. I am so glad I bought this one. It really works. It doesn’t hurt my hands (arthritis). It works on just about every size lid. It is light weight. I am very pleased and would definitely purchase again.

While away at family member’s home I used the jar opener. I was extremely grateful to use it. I had problems with my right hand and needed assistance to open a very tight jar. In a matter of seconds, without much effort, I was able to easily open the jar. I decided right then and there that I was going to order one for me. When I returned home I ordered nit only for me, but for my daughter-in-love. Although it wasn’t the same exact style, it operated the same. I have shared my experience about this product with friends and family. 5 Stars plus!!!

I bought the gripper to give to a friend who has Parkinson’s Disease. I have one and I love it so much I knew she would love it also and she does.

I purchased this item for my sister who has arthritis in her hands. I already had one of my own because I also have arthritis in my hands. I loved it so much. I wanted to share with her.

I still have to hold jar with my body while turning. But I know I’ll be able to twist ok once I’ve stabilized the container.

Considering I purchased this for an elderly sibling, it was not easy for them to maneuver. Not recommended at all.

The difference between the "Deluxe" gripper and the regular "Gripper" is the handle. The "Gripper" handle is plastic, not solid, and the "Deluxe" handle is solid stainless steel. They both work well. "Very" happy with their performance. Especially when I try to open a jar of "Clausen" pickles.

This little tool makes opening jars SO MUCH easier for my aging lady hands. Thank you!!!

A wonderful Swiss made product. My Mom is 84 year old with severe arthritis and she can use it easily. Strongly recommend others for ease of use. I would also consider as gifts too.
