Lands' End Essential Cotton 6-Piece Bath Towel Set

I've bought these towels for years and was always pleased with their long-lasting quality. This last sent of towels arrived and seemed extra soft, not a bad thing UNTIL I washed them. So much lint! I'm on my 4th washing and still have to stop the dryer halfway through to empty the lint trap so the piles of lint from these towels don't impede drying of the load. The towels also leave lint on your skin as is obvious when you apply lotion after using them. Can't imagine the towels will last very long with all the shedding. Very disappointed in the change.

Although I love the softness of these towels, the lint in the dryer is phenomenal. I'm hoping with further washings it will decrease!

I am so glad I got these towels they are wonderful.. Very plush I love them. ❤️ plus I got them on sale.

So far, these towels are a disaster. I washed them before using and the washer was clogged with shed fibers, and the dryer lint filter was so full I had trouble pulling it out to clean it. The 2nd and 3rd washes had less shedding, but still an inordinate amount compared to any other Lands End towels I've ever purchased. We'll see how subsequent washes go, but so far it's not good. I can't put anything else in the washer with these towels because of the shedding. If they don't stop shedding, I've wasted a lot of money.

Towels are nice and fluffy after the first wash, and after many washes & dryings. This color is a bit strange, but blends with our stone.

These are beautiful, high quality towels. I would buy again.

Bath towel is a larger size and all pieces nicely fluffy.

I bought this as a house warming present for my grandson, who is living on his own for the first time. The towels are very fluffy and are a generous size.

I bought the Essential Towel Set in Dec. 2024. Had to return because the towels are not 56”x30”. Oversized and more like bath sheets. Lands End please check bath towel sizing. The Blue Pewter color is pretty.

I love these towels. They are thick and a gorgeous shade of blue. Couldn't be happier!

I recently bought these to upgrade my guest towels. They are probably the softest towels I’ve ever bought. They washed well and even though they filled the dryer vent with fluff were still very soft.

these towels are thick and soft, but I ordered the Washed Evergreen color which looks dark green in the pictures. What arrived is more a creamy jade color, not at all what I wanted. really disappointed.

Good, but not the previous quality of these towels which I have been buying for almost 20 years. After a few washes, these clearly will not last as long as my previous LE towel sets. Also disappointed that the color selection has dwindled to a few. Bring back the navy please!

We had these soft towels monogrammed. It's a great engagement or wedding gift. People love the personalization. Thanks Lands End for this option.

These are really nice, quality towels at a great price. They are large, thick, and fluffy. They actually could be an inch or two smaller! That's one you seldom here. I would purchase more of these towels.

Washed before using and sent you picture of all the lint. I’m not sure they will last as my previous towels from your company.

Just received these towels today. I washed first before I planned to use and the amount of lint in my dryer is enormous. I may just return everything as it’s not up to the quality in accustomed to from Lands End.

Lovely soft towels even though they're labeled Basic. Have enjoyed having them.

The color Antelope is excellent. The hand towel is very thick & much larger than I’m used to. I don’t really like the large size but the quality seems very good & the color is perfect so I’ll keep it.

I have these towels in white and Baltic blue. They were purchase about 6 months apart, the white originally, them the blue. They are not the same. The new blue ones are wonderfully thick (and I was happy with the white ones), but they shed terribly when washed and dried. My lint trap was overfilled. The deep blue color also bleeds. Even my dryer sheet was stained. Not sure how they will hold up in the long run. They can’t shed forever, can they? And I guess I will continue to wash them alone. No mixing with these!
