nope

been missing the old recipe(s) ever since these were rolled out. used to be a reliable customer but stopped buying after the recipe switch. higher calories, lower protein, and even the taste is worse. if we're gonna change formulas, at least make it actually taste better. so upset.

I love the chewy texture and prefect sweetness

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new recipe! The bars are chewier, more moist, and I love the addition of real nuts, coconut, and chia seeds. The texture reminds me of rice crispy treats - such a satisfying treat that is not too sweet. I am upset they weren’t at my Costco the last time I shopped though! :-(

Added sweetener ruined them

They used to be good, but then they decided to add a bunch of sweetener. Now they just taste like a sugary candy bar. I liked them because they did not taste like candy, but this company probably got a lot of feedback from fat and sugar addicted Americans saying they didn't like the taste.

New Recipe, Less Protein :/

I liked these because they had decent macros and didn’t make me feel super full before working out. But recently they changed the recipe and now they have less protein for the same calories :/ kind of defeats the purpose at that point. I might as well get some other bar with more protein now.

ruined by changing recipe

I bought these at costco a few months ago, and they were delicious. i recently went to restock and noticed the packaging was different. the peanut butter bars now have peanuts in them and the chocolate sea salt bars now had almonds. I like nuts alright, but the bars no longer taste as good. they used to be a staple in my pantry, but since they changed the recipe, i would rather to switch to a different brand.

Amazon bars better than direct (sugar, protein)

I thought the single. flavored Lemon Coconut bars ordered directly from Simply Protein would be same as the ones in the combination package that I ordered on Amazon. So I ordered 3 boxes. BUT to my surprise, the bars in the single flavor boxes have less protein (12 g vs 15 g) and more sugar (2g vs 1 g)! After I got them and realized this, I immediately went on the website to return these. BUT they are non-refundable! This is why I always order from amazon. I wish someone from Simply Protein would explain why the discrepancy. Why add more suger and have less protein in the bar? Is it just to make it cheaper?

Excellent Gluten and Dairy Free Protein Bar

So delicious and great protein count. Sugar isn’t bad so makes a great meal replacer. I keep one in my purse for on the go! Great gluten, dairy and egg free option!
