My child loves this bed and picked it herself. It is a very cute design. My knock off of stars comes from several problems. 1) we were missing screws for the awnings. 3 screws of the 8 that were required. we had to use shorter ones of some extras we had. 2) there are not knotches or holes for where the support beams under the mattress go, you have to create your own holes AND measure each board to be 3.24 inches apart. 3) 2 of the 4 support beams for the corners of the bed were mislabeled causing us to have to take the entire thing apart to swap them. 4) several pieces were not labeled at all so it became a guessing game. 5) the holes for the cabinets did not line up to the holes on the support beams. you had to either lift the entire bed frame or push the cabinets down with a lot of force in order to get them to line up. While I do not regret this purchase for my child, it was not a fun build for my husband and I.
