Zinus Kai Bamboo and Metal Platform Bed Frame with Headboard, No Box Spring Needed, Easy Assembly, Twin, Brown

I have had the bed for a week now and it’s sturdy once assembled. However the quality control for the assembly instructions was not very good the numbered stickers were not placed well. When putting together the bed half of the cross slats were about 1/4 inch to short. As a result I had to tie a rope across the frame to pull it together so the mattress would not fall through as pictured below.

Personally the best Bed Frame I got! 💯 Simple and easy instructions and each piece of material that was inside the Box was sealed separately, it was amazing. It comes with a Tool to help you assemble everything in no time. Took me almost an hour to set everything up

Love the look! It's the right size perfect for my studio casita. Easy to assemble. The headboard hardware can be noisy/creaky when getting in bed and moving around in my sleep. Hoping a rug underneath the bed (currently on hard laminate floor) will solve further noise issues. Otherwise happy with it!

Simple. Just what I wanted. I’m using with a box spring so you can’t see a ton of the headboard. Might get rid of box spring at some point. Easy to put together by myself. Directions need to be a little more clear as far as their numbering/lettering system.

Bed frame sucks. It’s uncomfortable. My back hurts because my mattress does not lay flat and even. A big pain to assemble too.

I ordered this bed frame because I heard it was easy to assemble and the price point was good. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to assemble due to irregularities in the alignment of the holes. Once put together, the back board is not straight but slightly bent in the middle. Not happy with this bed at all.

I recently purchased a Tempur Cloud mattress and this Zinus Kai Bed frame (Queen). I do not feel like I'm sleeping on 100 of the softest marshmellows. This bed frame is poorly designed and I am uncomfortable sleeping on it. The horizontal slats are uneven and uncomfortable I can feel it through the mattress. It was also difficult to assemble with 1 person. Would return it if I could.

I bought this due to price point and what I hoped you’d be fairly easy assembly for temporary housing. Assembly was straightforward — my friend assembled in about an hour! Please note that this bed is very low. I personally like that, but something to keep in mind while you are shopping! Great buy.

I wanted to like this frame, but my husband and I tried putting just the headboard together for an hour and the wood pieces were too short and we could only screw in one side leaving the other end an inch or more from the screw hole.

This is exactly what I wanted in a bed frame! It sits nice and low, and is well built and rock solid. The style is fantastic. The assembly took me a couple hours by myself, so not super quick, but the instructions were easy to follow and the components fit together nicely. It had a feel of high quality and good design. The only thing I don't like about it is that there are posts in the middle of each edge of the frame, which my brain is not used to and has resulted in several toe stabbings. I think once I get used to it, it won't be an issue, but I think others might have the same problem as only corner posts is much more standard. Regardless, if I had to do it over again I would still buy it.

It’s easy to assemble and feels sturdy. I was a little confused with the metal slats instead of wood, not sure if it matters but just something to think of. It looks very nice and modern. It is very low profile which didn’t work for me. It was my bad for not noticing

I finally got around to putting it together before he gets in town this weekend. Let me tell you, I was so happy and surprised how easy it was for me to put this frame together by myself. It took me about a hour because I did it alone, it would of been so much faster with someone else. Everything that was needed was in the box and was labeled nicely. This also came with a handy ratchet that took a load off my shoulders. Once I got it together I put a mattress on it and made the bed up. Of course I had to lay on it awhile and test it out. Felt nice and sturdy, long lasting and the mattress held nice. Definitely recommend this if you looking for a frame. When I go to remodel my room I'll be doing some more searching of my own.

The bamboo adds warmth and character to the room. We are using it in the kid's room and it fits the decor style nicely. I put a memory foam mattress on it and it and made sure the bed didn't make any noise. Overall very happy with the bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed frame is very easy and simple to assembly but the final product looks neat and modern. All parts are made of metal frame including the slats. The only exception is the accent slats on the headboard and footboard which are made of hardwood. instruction is easy to follow. Parts are numbers on each end. I just need to connect the number sticker attached to the part to the same number on the other part. To make the assemble process easier, I managed to group the part into headboard, footboard, sideboard and everything else in the middle. The rest is just a matter of attaching parts together and screwing it in. All hardware is coded and tools also provided. I finished my bed frame less than an hour. The end result is modern minimalist and aesthetic. Perfect for my bedroom and great quality product.
