Packaging needs work; product is great
This absorbs easily and feels great when I apply it. A little goes a long way. The ink on the container is rubbing off everywhere, though. I’m not sure why. It was stored in my bathroom and I also traveled with it, but it’s only been one month. None of my other moisturizers have this issue. The ink flakes off onto my fingers every time I touch it. It makes me want to continue looking for a favorite moisturizer, because it’s a very annoying issue. Great cream otherwise, though!

Lightweight like a lotion
I received a free sample of this which was a lovely deep, smooth cream. I ordered it and I found it to be very lightweight and more of a lotion. Not at all like the sample. It didn’t hydrate as well.

I liked that it includes a few different products, so I could try them before committing to the full size. Everything felt lightweight, gentle, and moisturizing, and my skin looked a bit smoother after using them consistently. It’s also a convenient set for travel or gifting. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend it.

Love the product but it's gotten pricey!
Longtime user of Ultra Facial Cream, but I buy it sparingly these days because of the price jump during COVID. Glad I bought this huge tub during the recent sale.

Best facial moisturizer!
Love this facial moisturizer! It’s my daily wear that I have been buying for two years now. It is lightweight, great texture, makes me feel hydrated. I buy the re-fil bag and replenish this size when I need it.

Allergic reaction
I have used this product for about one year and loved it. I recently opened a new jar and I am having an allergic reaction. My eyes are extremely itchy. Has the formula been changed? It’s a 4.2 ounce jar and now it’s just unusable.

For dry skin
Not too thick and spreads well. A little goes a long way and boy it’s hydrating! Didn’t cause any irritations or redness and it doesn’t really have a scent. It’s super hydrating and left my skin silky and smooth. I ended up using it for my whole body because it was way too hydrating for my face.

Great moisturizer but not for me!
This is a great lightweight moisturizing cream, however it’s not made for sensitive skin. This cream has made me break out, so I stopped using it! However, it is velvety smooth and has a great texture that makes your skin feel hydrated.

The absorption of Kiehl's ultra facial cream is absolutely unmatched!. The packaging is your standard pot, although I wish I had a scooper included as to not compromise the rest of the cream. This cream calms my irritated skin, and helps repair the skin barrier. There's a fresh scent to the cream but it's not bothersome at all!. I love it, 72 hours of hydration yesss ma'am!.

It’s really good. I have oily acne prone skin type, and I think it did a great job at controlling my breakouts. The consistency is thick, which I love. Also, the scent is very mild. And the finish is matte.

What does 4.2 oz really mean?

When I compared it with a previous purchase of the same product, also labeled "4.2 oz", the earlier purchase container was significantly larger. Moisturizing but not hydrating
I bought this product to help moisturize during very cold weather. I topically use a very thick cream at night but wanted a day moisturizer. This felt thin and watery and doesn’t absorb. It sits on my fave and pills throughout the day. I’ve tried layering it with other products and also on its own and no matter what I feel like it doesn’t absorb. I do think initial application it soothes my dry irritated skin but even water wets the ground on a hot day.

Perfect skin
I love Kiehels facial cream. It absorbs into the skins easily. Keeping my skin hydrated throughout the day. Not oily or sticky. Very affordable.
