    An Easter ESSENTIAL

    Mini eggs are an absolute essential for me and my family at Easter time. Every year we enjoy multiple packets and we wish they were available all year round. Also love mini egg flavoured things such as cakes decorated with mini eggs.

    The new thick, waxy, suger pebble shell is terrible. The chocolate is not a smooth as before. This is not the same, it taste and feels like a knock off brand. It like when your parents tried to pass off RC Cola as Coka Cola. It's a sad candy now:(

    Terrible

    This used to be a staple in my home around Easter. No more. These are no longer what they used to be. Note to Hershey: Never change the recipe on anything. Unless you’re purposely shooting for low sales, leave it alone. Consistency is key. If customers sent you 8D’s because these were not the same, how would you respond? You created a QA nightmare.

    After receipe change, the taste is terrible.

    Since 2024, the taste hasn’t been the same. The new chocolate and shell flavoring made it noticeably worse. It seems like there was a slight adjustment for the 2026 season, which is an improvement, but it still doesn’t compare to how it used to taste. Unfortunately, I don’t plan on buying them again, especially disappointing since I used to purchase several large bags each year.

    Simply the Best!

    I look forward to the Mini Eggs every Spring. I'm not sure about all of the 1 Star reviews. These mini eggs are far superior over the regular Hershey Mini Eggs. The chocolate inside is much smoother and more rich tasting. And, the shell is perfect if you want to have 1 egg slowly dissolve in your mouth. The Hershey Mini Egg shell is rough, if you choose to enjoy them this way.

    Best memories

    These were my late husbands absolute favorite sweet things in the entire world to eat. Even though I knew he knew the truth he would never admit it to anyone but out loud he would swear to anyone l Cadbury rabbits and chickens were real and everyone should be given at least one of them.

    Nasty bunny eggs ever!!!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

    I thought the bunnies would make better eggs. This is the nastiest thing the world. I took one bite and thought i was eating actual dirt. I was told bunny eggs were a magical experience while eating. THEY WERE WRONG!!!! These were not up to my standard of previous bunny eggs i've had.

    Great classic candy but change the colors back!

    Have always loved this candy and it definitely has a nostalgic place in my heart. But for the past couple years the only cadberry eggs I’ve been able to find are “rainbow” colored—not the classic pastel colors. This kind of ruins the vibe of the mini eggs for me; they just aren’t nearly as appealing. I’m wondering if we can just get the classic colors back?

    Candbury mini eggs are so good!! The chocolate inside with the thick crunchy outside is the perfect combination! The size is perfect for snacking or putting in Easter eggs! The candy is packaged very well they are always fresh when you open a bag . This is my son’s favorite Easter candy !! I have to make sure he gets it in his basket every year!

    Are they selling crushed eggs now?

    The candy was not presentable! I opened the bag, and 80% of the candy shell had either fallen of or mishandled during the process that I thought maybe I had purchased a bag the was “crushed” for baking purposes! What a disappointment!

    The candy coating isn't thick crunchy candy anymore. It's soft and chalky with a terrible flavor. The chocolate doesn't seem as creamy and melty as it was. What did you do to my favorite candy?

    Very good product.

    The portioning is pretty good for the price, it’s super fresh and the taste is super good. It’s not brittle at all and the quantity is good. Overall, awesome product.

    Tasty shell and very good chocolate.

    These candies have a tasty thin crisp shell coating in several flavors. The chocolate eggs inside are good quality chocolate. These are tasty and cute and are great Easter treats.

    Bite size deliciousness!

    The perfect creamy chocolate, a favorite for Easter! Love that they’re bite sized, but they’re hard to resist eating the entire bag! It’s unfortunate that they’re only available around Easter as they would be a favorite chocolate treat year round.
