A really bland flavor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is easy to drink. It's not thick, which makes it easy to drink and swallow. It doesn't taste artificial, like fake sweetener or too much protein powder. However, the taste is very bland. It doesn't taste like chocolate. It's just like drinking sweetened something or other with no clear taste. I like the feeling of drinking chocolate milk in a protein shake, and this is like drinking chocolate water, where there is a hint of chocolate, but not a clear taste of chocolate. I like that it has a lot of vitamins and minerals in it, but I wouldn't buy it based on taste alone.

Not a fan! It tastes awful!

However, it tastes awful! It's really thick & tastes like it has ALOT of chocolate in it, but the after taste is horrible. It's chalky like, is the best way to put it. I won't be purchasing in the future.

Great taste

There was no chalky texture or protein-powder taste. The chocolate flavor was great, like a milk chocolate, and the sweetness was balanced so it wasn't cloying. I was also happy with the nutrition facts and low sugar. I would definitely purchase this, especially with how much protein it provides in a really easy and tasty format.

Taste great!

The best tasting protein shake!

But I was sooo wrong, Premier Protein tastes amazing, easy to drink anywhere, tastes delicious, packed with good vitamins and nutrients. Having 42g of protein is great! I'd definitely switch to this one for now on.

Holy Protein!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is packs a protein punch, that's for sure! It has the same pleasing chocolate flavor but TWICE the protein of any other shake I have tried. I have tried many Premier Protein products and am a regular consumer of the "regular strength" chocolate shake. This one is a little bit thicker, which to me help curb my appetite a little longer. I'd recommend to anyone who needs to fast-track their protein goals!

Good Taste for 42g of Protein!

I feel like the more protein a shake has, the worse it usually tastes, so I was expecting this to have that really obvious protein shake taste. It didn't. The chocolate flavor was good, it was easy to drink, and there wasn't a weird aftertaste. For 42g of protein, I'd definitely drink it again. I give it 4/5 only bc the flavor was good, not knock my socks off great.

Great Protein Amount/Slight Aftertaste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all the nutrients and the amount of protein is fantastic! At first it tastes great, but it has a funky aftertaste (kind of metallic). I tried blending with a banana but still had the aftertaste so that's why I wouldn't use this regularly.
