FlexiSpot E2L 48" x 72" L-Shaped Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk – Black Frame/Black Top

This desk was one of the most frustrating things I have ever put together. The instructions are completely unclear and contacting support is useless because they give you copy & paste generic responses. I had to go buy a drill and bits just to drill in the nails to connect the desktop to the legs. There are about 50 holes on both pieces of the desktop that line up to NOTHING. After 5 grueling hours of yelling and frustration, the desk is put together. The actual desk feels good and the motor works well. Not really wobbly. But, it is not worth going through the trouble of putting together. I saw a YouTube video from 2 years ago on Flexispot's channel and everyone complained about the same issues I had, so they clearly never got addressed.

Once you get everything assembled and setup, the desk seems very solid and works well. The instruction manual is incredibly frustrating; far beyond that Swedish blue and yellow store. There are no words and the pictures are not clear at explaining exactly what you need to do. As an example, when attaching the feet, they need to go on a certain way as they are not symmetrical, but the directions do nothing to help you figure out which way to attach them. There are multiple examples of this throughout the instructions. What words are in the manual are very poorly translated as well. And finally, don't toss the manual because the online version is incomplete. Overall I like the desk now that it is assembled, but the assembly process had me screaming obscenities.

Directions were unintuitive and the longer portion of the L desk is only supported by one beam. Additionally, screw design is cheap and inconsistent, resulting in the internal elements of the framework breaking while securing the tabletop. I without a doubt would not have ordered the L desk with tabletop if I had known this was what I was getting. Highly recommend custom ordering a tabletop if you desire the L desk!

We love the white and bamboo. Desk is solid construction, a bit larger than expected, but looks great!

The base is really high quality and very convenient but the desktops lack darker natural colors so I had to resurface and stain my own color onto the bamboo. The instructions could also use some work for clarity.

tough to put together and the holes in the desk didn&t match up with the legs/screws. i had to drill my own holes. i also wish they labeled the parts themselves not just the screws

Sturdy desk, but assembly of connecting the frame to the table top had almost no holes align. If you can do your own pilot holes there’s no problem, but taking a star off since the website said it was reversible, but holes are only drilled for one side. After buying brackets to connect the two tabletops together to make them even and sturdy it ended up being a good product! Slight modifications needed from original item.

The table is awesome. Fits my room perfectly. Everything I need.

The E2L is fantastic! I have it holding up my computer setup with three monitors. After I assembled it I rode it both up and down and it held my weight with ease. My only complaint would be that the chipboard doesn&t have holes where they need to be. You have to measure it all out so that it&s even and drill your own.

I am very satisfied with the desk. However, the tabletop should come with some instructions on how to orient it relative to the base. Took me a while to figure it out.

A great desk that works really well. Instructions could use some help - we had to figure a few things out by ourselves, but we got there.

I bought a single desktop and the higher end frame several years ago and didn’t have too much of a problem putting it together. . this time i ordered the E2L(lower end model) with 2 piece corner desktop. The instructions received are very difficult to figure out for this 2-board set up. As they don’t show 2 boards only a one board set up. None of the pre-drilled holes line up to attach top to frame. . pictures for putting together control box and adapter and tension rods are worthless. Can’t find any videos to put the loer end model together. Very disappointed in this set up and do not recommend. On day 3 of trying to figure it out. . i will be amazed if this thing actually works when i do get it together

Excellent standing desk, especially for this price. You may need a drill to assemble as some of the holes weren&t cut properly, but there are enough to identify where stuff goes I think.

Great desk but the instructions were not at all clear.

I&ll start by saying I love this desk and would highly recommend it, but the assembly process was a little disappointing to get going. The desk arrived very quickly, with every part accounted for and an assembly process that took less than 2 hours. There were a few steps such as this that didn&t really make sense, typically being in the wrong order and making you undo it before proceeding. Would be nice for them to take a look at the steps and revalidate that this is intentional. The primary issue with assembly though came down to the tooling they are using for drilling the pilot holes in the desk surface. They don&t match the frame. Maybe they are correct for the smaller desk size, but when using the larger desk size, about 1/3rd the holes were in the wrong spot or not drilled at all. Fortunately, in almost every case, there were enough holes to make it clear where to attach the item and screw the remaining screws in. (Such as 2 holes being drilled for one of the leg supports, but the other 2 not being drilled). The desk itself has been wonderful. Seriously an incredible value, exceptionally stable, looks great, and raises and lowers perfectly. I highly recommend this desk despite the assembly challenges - just make sure you have an electric drill to screw your screws in unless you want a long wrist workout.

Sturdy, easy to assemble (except one thing, mentioned later in the review), smooth tabletop and a lot of space to have my remote work AND gaming setup. However, the assembly of putting the tabletop to the legs was not the best experience. The pre-drilled holes were not lining, as I read in the other reviews prior to purchasing, and I assumed I would’ve had to drill my own holes. Which I did.

The desk is an incredible bang for your buck! However, the instructions are not written well (especially if you want to orient the desk anything other than the default direction) and they are missing some steps.
