Very disapointed

The paint is very hard to get off hands. Would not consider it washable as my child’s hands are stained. I will be using Crayola washable that I know will come off. The paint cups are great. Disappointed there is only one blue dry erase marker should have come with a few colors. The chalk breaks at first use and does not write well on the chalkboard. I wish the paper was wider to cover the whole dry erase side so when painting it doesn’t get on that. Honestly I would not recommend this set. You could but the paint cups and get your own paint that is truly washable

Great complement to artist's easel!

Appreciated having this set as complement to the easel available. Great way to launch a young artist. I will purchase new chalk as every piece has broken during first use. :(

Double check your paper size

Paper roll is too wide our our Melissa and Doug easel set. Honestly this whole easel has been a huge disappointment, it takes up so much space and can’t even find paper that will fit it.

Good start.

All very good except only one dry erase pen. There should have been 4 different colors like paints. I'm adding in finger paints and crayons for the toddlers.

4 1/2 year old granddaughter really seems to like it -- immediately painted several pictures of rainbows -- taking a bit longer to work with the letters & numbers, but seems interested in them, too -- hasn't yet tried the white board markers or the chalk board

Sure to delight the 3 1/2 year old little artist!

It's a gift yet to be opened, but it is exactly as described. I do wish it had an18" paper roll, rather than the 15" since I bought the set to go with the easel and that holds the 18" size.

Great package for refreshing a well-used easel

We bought an easel for our granddaughter back when she was 2, and now she's 6 and the supplies that she has made much use of just really needed a refresh. This pack is bringing her much happiness, not to mention introducing her 2-year-old sister to the easel!

the accessory set was an amazing add-on to the easel. I gave it 4 stars because I do not think the paint was super easy to clean up but other than that we loved all the materials in this kit.

Takes time to wash off hands

I'm a big believer in Melissa and Doug but I was disappointed in this paint. Simple soap and water does not get this off. In my experience, you have to give it some time to wear off. We also have some crayola paints and those wash off immediately. I just wanted to warn someone else that it takes multiple washes to get them off hands or takes some time to get the paint off.

So disappointed about the roll.

Bought the seal stand and accessory set for my toddler this Christmas and I was so upset and annoyed at the fact that the roll that comes with the set does not fit the easel stand we bought. We bought it all at once thinking it would be compatible, but unfortunately it's not. Would return all if I could.
