Save your money. Not worth the money at all!! I don't know what I expected, but I was fooled by the high ratings. This is mushy, highly starchy adult baby food. Extremely bland. Suppose it's good if you can't chew/lack teeth.

But, if you are in a rush to eat, it does take an hour in the oven. I decided to put in the microwave for 15 minutes and then finish it off in the oven uncovered for another 15 minutes and it seemed to turn out like I would imagine it would have if I had the hour hour to cook it in the oven. Was a little disappointed on the size. It says family size on the box, but there is no way that my husband and I, plus our two older kids would have all been able to have enough. Other than that, we would eat this again when in a hurry.

But this Chicken&Veggy rice bake surprised me. The taste is delicious, the rice is cheesy, something like rice&cheese, the chicken is soft. It looks absolutely like nanny dish. The instructions is clear and easy to cook, just a little longer, required more than hour in oven or 20 min microwave. But it worth it!

It’s great as a meal with some bread or a salad. My toddler loves it too! It looks really similar to how it’s pictured on the box and has always been consistent. Highly suggest for a dinner that you can throw in oven and forget about til your timer goes off!

Delicious and easy freezer dinner

I've had this meal tons of times though and can easily review what it should've been. It smells delicious and the flavor is a perfect mix of meat and veggies. The topping is what makes it really good though and sometimes that doesn't cook perfect. Maybe it's an oven issue or something else, but it's about one in every 5 times I've made it that it isn't quite the right texture. I'm super picky about texture, so it may only be me. Otherwise, a very yummy freezer dinner!

It was VERY easy to cook and even microwaving it didn't take any of the taste away! The one thing I wish is that it had more peas and carrots. The chicken was so tender and everything just blended very well together. So glad I tried this!!

Easy Dinner Night!

The breadcrumbs on top stayed crunchy as well, which was a nice surprise! There was a good amount of chicken, and it was filling enough for my family of three. If I wanted to stretch it a little, I could have also made some rolls and possibly an extra side of a veggie, maybe broccoli. I was really impressed with this, and will be buying this and trying their other offerings as well!

We ate it as a side along with our dinner. It taste better than it looks. The consistency was soft and creamy. This one came in a small baking disposable container serving for 4 people. So perfect amount for my family. The aftertaste was pretty good. It does remind me of something my grandma makes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a gift card to purchase and try Stouffers Grandma’s Chicken and Vegetable Rice Bake in exchange for my honest opinion. This frozen rice bake takes about 75 minutes to cook in an oven. The box makes it look more appealing than it really is. The texture is fine, but the bake is seriously lacking vegetables. The chicken has a good texture, as does the rice. The cheese sauce is tasty as well. If I purchase again, I’d prepare my own peas and carrots to mix in after baking. Overall, a decent value for the price.
