submitted by JennM - 4 years ago
  • A: There is a slight scent to to this powder but its very mild. I would suggest getting the smallest one to try, a trial one (around 1oz) if u can can find it in the store?

submitted byCarla - 3 years ago

  • A: To everyone leaving bad reviews because it doesn’t contain talc. Please educate yourselves, there is a reason they discontinued the use of talc in baby powder, specifically that it can be linked to both lung cancer and ovarian cancer. https://amp.cancer.org/cancer/risk-prevention/chemicals/talcum-powder-and-cancer.html

The reviews reflect a strong preference for the original formula of baby powder, highlighting its comforting scent and effective moisture absorption. Many guests express disappointment over the discontinuation of the talc version, citing the new cornstarch formula as less effective and lacking the familiar fragrance. For anyone saying bring back the old formula and that they don’t care if it’s talc-based- my Grandmother passed away in 2006 at 63 years old from ovarian cancer. She was stage 4 when diagnosed as ovarian cancer doesn’t usually cause symptoms until late stages. She used the original formula all throughout life for personal hygiene. My family and I strongly believe the baby powder caused her to develop cancer as talc is known to be contaminated with asbestos. J&J has faced over 90,000 lawsuits over the original formula causing ovarian cancer & mesothelioma. Please do your research. This change is a good one.

    Very Bad Baby Powder

I have to buy the one with cornstarch and it doesn’t do anything for me at all. I need something close to the original baby powder. I’m allergic to the cornstarch and aloe baby powder. I need the original baby powder.

Not a love, but at least it wont cause cancer

Why on earth are you people asking to add talc to your skincare products? Talc causes cancer. Did y’all not hear about the huge lawsuit against J&J from that poor old lady who got cervical cancer from using talc-based baby powders? Find an alternative that works for you but please be safe about it, especially if you’re using this on your kids.

    New formula again 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new formula is horrible. I don’t know why they have changed it once again! After the lawsuits it’s great they took the talc out. The talc free baby powder was perfect. The scent, density, everything was perfect. They have changed it once again and have even redesigned the lid. It’s horrible and the consistency is way off. It’s kinda like flour and I hate it. Why change something not broken.

I have been using this product for 30 years and I my jaw dropped when I went to order some just now and I can't find it anywhere. This is deeply upsetting. I absolutely hate using cornstarch and I'm very sensitive to scented versions. Bring this product back! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Please bring the talc powder back. Improvise on the product or something. That ludicrous cornstarch powder doesnt make sense. Its rough, and nobody wants a sticky body when sweating after applying it.
