Vaseline Jelly Baby is a gentle jelly that keeps babies' skin soft and smooth. Babies have sensitive skin that needs to be cared for with specially formulated products – so it is essential to choose products that are effective at helping treat and prevent diaper rash, and kind to your baby’s skin, like Vaseline Petroleum Jelly for baby. Vaseline Jelly Baby helps to treat and prevent dry, chafed skin from diaper rash by locking in moisture. Vaseline for baby also creates a protective barrier to help prevent friction between diapers and your baby’s skin, which can help solve the problem of diaper rash before it occurs. It also comes in a recyclable, flip cap jar, making it convenient and simple to use, even when you’re on the go. Gentle, Hypoallergenic Formula. Our Baby Vaseline Jelly is gentle, dermatologist tested, and formulated to soothe diaper rash. Like the original Vaseline Jelly, Vaseline for baby petroleum jelly is triple-purified to remove any impurities that could irritate your child’s skin. It is gentle on sensitive baby skin. Because of its pure and gentle formula, Vaseline Baby can be used as a daily baby moisturizer to treat dry patches on your baby’s face and body, not just their diaper area. When used regularly as part of your diaper changing routine, it’s the perfect baby moisturizer to help prevent dry skin and chafing.

I use this one and the cocoa butter scent on my feet before I go to sleep. I love that this Vaseline has the traditional “baby fresh” scent. Sad to see all the negative comments about the scent. If you don’t want the scent buy the original! Simple.
Vaseline is pretty much the gold standard as far as whats safe to put on your baby's skin...but not this stuff. It has fragrance and pediatricians recommend fragrance free for babies and kids (best for adults too) in order to best avoid any possible irritation or rash. The word "baby" on the packaging drew me in and I'm just now realizing months later (so now I can't return it) that its not actually 100% petroleum. Now I just use it for my feet. If you need Vaseline for your kid, get the fragrance free and dye free kind.
I compared the two containers of regular Vaseline and baby Vaseline. Regular one says 100% petroleum jelly meanwhile the baby version is 99 point something. What is interesting is that there are NO OTHER INGREDIENTS LISTED, however clearly it is a PERFUMED VERSION. Meanwhile the label says it’s “hypoallergenic,” as if it is better than the original. Very Misleading!! Shame on this company! The consumers they are marketing to are those that have skin problems (eczema, diaper dermatitis, etc) and those the are same babies that are being HARMED by this careless product.

WHY would you add fragrance to a product designed for use on delicate, broken, and irritated skin. Pure plain old Vaseline works just fine (which I thought I was BUYING since it’s clearly labeled “100% pure “hypoallergenic” ...I’m not even sure how they can claim that.) I do not get this. And I’m TICKED because I ordered the giant container, and applied this to my 9 month old with sensitive skin and eczema, before noticing the intense “baby powdery” smell. It’s very misleading... nothing says “This is plain ordinary Vaseline” like “100% pure petroleum jelly hypoallergenic”...
