Q: I love aquaphor , but I have one question is the healing baby aquaphor for dry skin a white color like the diaper rash one? Because I also use the regular ointment for his dry eyes or I would also have to buy that separately

submitted by Starrrr - 2 years ago
  • A: Hello! This product is white with a grayish tint. You can view the color if you hover over the images to left of the main product images and scroll through. Hope this helps!

  • A: The Aquaphor Baby Diaper Rash Cream is white. Both the Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment and the Aquaphor Healing Ointment can vary in color from opaque to more beige depending on the batch. None of these products are appropriate for use around the eyes.

Q: Is this product sealed in any way? It doesn't look like it comes with the protective plastic seal. Thanks.

submitted by bsm - 3 years ago
  • A: The Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment 14 oz jar does have a safety seal under the lid across the opening. We do not recommend using the product if the seal is missing or not intact.

  • A: Yes it has a white seal over it.

Q: why is this called baby when the formula is the same as the regular one? the previous questions show aquaphor team verified it's the same formula.

submitted by Jan - 6 months ago
  • A: The Aquaphor Healing Ointment and the Aquaphor Baby Ointment are the same formula. We know that many parents and caregivers shop in the baby care aisle when looking for skin care products for children. Our retail partners have asked that the product state “baby” if it is shelved in the baby care aisle.

Q: My radiation therapist recommended Aquaphor for my skin during treatments..if both formulas are the same( regular vs baby) which should be used? Thanks

submitted by chris - 3 years ago
  • A: Aquaphor Healing Ointment and Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment are the same formulas, therefore either product can be used. We wish you all the best.

Q: How is this different from the regular aquaphor?

submitted by NatashaLuv - 3 years ago
  • A: Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment is the same formula as our Aquaphor Healing Ointment. This multi-purpose ointment can be used to protect or soothe extremely dry skin and relieve diaper rash.

Q: Is it safe to put this cream near his mouth? And this works with face rashes?Thank you

submitted by Conz - 5 years ago
  • A: I use it on my baby’s cheeks in the winter. I’m not sure if you’d want to use it closer to the mouth though, that would probably be a question for the pediatrician.

submitted byJjjj - 4 years ago

Q: Does the top pop open or screw off to open?

submitted by Cp - 5 years ago
  • A: The top of the tub screws off, it is easy to use.

Use caution if your child has eczema

3 out of 5 stars
PNWJess - 5 months ago, Verified purchaser
At first we thought this was helping in between steroid use for our son’s eczema on top of his feet. We only used the rx if it was getting really bad. After months of regular use of the Aquaphor and rarely using the rx, we noticed his eczema started spreading to his legs, then eventually the rest of his body. A few days ago I had a thought…while his eczema wasn’t as severe (damage to the skin wise) it was now all over his body…could it be the Aquaphor? According to the national eczema website, some people with eczema can had an adverse reaction to lanolin. Lanolin is in Aquaphor. Looking back at it now and reading the label more thoroughly…there is no mention of using this product to help eczema…probably because the manufacturers already know of the potential adverse reaction. After 3 days of no Aquaphor use, my son’s skin is waaaay less inflamed and red.
