Excellent for Fine, Straight Hair
I have fine, chemically straightened hair and have gone through sooo many trials with other oils and leave-in’s to help fix my ends that were notoriously frizzy and dry. But those other oils and leave-in’s were heavy, leaving my hair stiff and causing buildup that made my scalp miserable. I went to my salon for a touch up and she used a popular argan oil serum on my hair that I loved but retailed for $50 for the tiniest bottle…. Nooo ma’am. So I do some digging because there has to be a better option in the market and during my most recent stop at Target, I saw OGX’s haircare line that features argan oil — the secret ingredient. After deliberating on their different products for 20min (literally LOL) I decided to pull the trigger on this penetrating oil. I was hesitant because it’s so affordable but OHMYGOD it has passed every test. First, it has an excellent rating as a clean and safe product for everyday use. Second, it is so light yet the formula really gives a nice slip for detangling and smoothing without heaviness. Third, this OGX product has completely removed my need to use a leave-in regularly. It is great to use before/after heat-styling, too. It gives an unbelievable amount of shine. I have a short cut and I only need a few drops at a time. My hair is light as a feather with so much more movement since I’ve been able to ditch the leave-in’s. My scalp itchiness and flaking have completely disappeared. If you have fine, straight hair (natural or otherwise) this product is genuinely the GOAT.
